Hi

I've signed up for ichoosr and have received details from them that npower had won the auction. Ive also been informed by some one at eon that they had won the ichoosr auction?

As I'm with eon I wanted to stay with them but how do I apply for ichoosr eon collective?

can either the ichoosr or Eon rep shed some light as I don't want to go with npower?

thanks

I'm also an Eon customer, and the iChoosr npower collective deal looks more expensive than my existing tariff

I've just received my email from UKPower.co.uk
Powered by iChoosr indicating npower and unsubscribed for this collective switch

But did a search and found this after reading your posting Euphoria1z

    https://www.eonenergy.com/for-your-home/products-and-services/Tariff-terms-and-conditions/EON-iChoosr-Fixed-1-Collective-June-2016

The winning supplier will be the one making the lowest offer. You will receive an email from 27 May onwards with an offer, based on the usage information you have submitted.

    Update
E.ON has won the Dual Fuel paper billing contracts.
E.ON has also won the Electricity Only online billing and paper billing contracts.
I wonder, what the Electricity online Rate is :D

My "personal" offer with iChoosr was with nPower -but as it was £96 more than my current EON deal, I declined -but don't remember seeing anything about an EON deal with paper bills.
Tried to go back in today, but once you have declined the offers seem to have gone so can't check whether the EON dual fuel offer with paper billing is better or not!

    Morning Euphoria1z.

You're right, we've won a Collective Tariff with iChoosr. To confirm what frank777says, it's the Dual Fuel tariff with paper billing and a Monthly Direct Debit. We've also won an Electricity only online tariff with a Monthly Direct Debit. Thanks Frank.

Customers interested will need to apply through iChoosr. As these are collective tariffs, existing E.ON customers will also need to apply through iChoosr. Customers won't be able to switch to these tariffs through our website. Neither will our advisors be able to put through switches. It's against the rules where collectives are concerned.

They're available from 27 May 16 to 28 June 16. There's a £30 per fuel exit fee if customers change supplier before their renewal period (open 49 calendar days before the tariff ends until 20 days after). Existing E.ON customers on tariffs with exit fees won't be charged to switch as these fees don't apply for those moving from one E.ON product to another.

E.ON Reward points are available but our Price Alert service isn't as these are standalone products and no new versions will be offered.

Hope this helps Euphoria1z. Let me know if you need any more information as happy to help.

  • Malc,

As a customer paying by monthly direct debit with gas and electric with separate suppliers (Gas with Zog and Electric with EON paperless billing) I was only offered the nPower dual fuel option which was slightly more expensive than my existing split tariffs.

The point I'm making is that nowhere was I offered or able to see the EON Electric only paperless billing option which suggests to me that possibly something is wrong with the UKPower/iChoosr offer system for customers with split suppliers which may be costing you potential customers?

Thanks for posting the link frank777. It's to the terms and conditions for this tariff. Just to confirm, customers can't switch to this new offer through our website. They'll need to go through iChoosr.

Initially, too, prices will be available from iChoosr. Once the switch starts, customers will receive a letter confirming their prices. This is for both new and existing customers. For existing customers, switches are immediate but it usually takes about 3 working days for accounts to be updated. This will be backdated to the start date advised by iChoosr. Generally, new customer switches complete in about two and half weeks.

Hope this and the above helps frank777. Let me know if you need any more details as happy to help.

Morning brewerdave and hope the information I posted above is of interest. Not sure how the iChoosr system works. Probably best to contact them about not being able to see the details you need.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

    Thanks all

what I did was to go to my npower offer, go to edit your details, then change billing option to paper bills then view my offer, and it now shows the eon offer.

Malcolm. Once ive switched tariffs, I can go back to being on paperless billing without invalidating terms and conditions as the offer is for paper bills?
