    Well done!
You listened to the advice, acted on it, and your hard work paid off!
    Have you accepted yet?

Not yet, one of them is in a much better position than the other so the agent is seeing if the lower one will match the higher one but even if they can't we will accept it anyway.

I had a look at some similar posts to mine on here and was quite shocked at how defensive some people get when they ask for advise on their houses. Why ask for advise if you aren't going to listen to it?

    I wonder that too.
I know some people can be a bit harsh with their opinions of the house but they are trying to help. If you ask for opinions
that's exactly what you'll get

I think you should get a special MSE badge to say you listened to advice and acted on it

Can't find anything that's suitable so please add your own words to this one ;)

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Huge congrats - and thanks again for taking advice :) Yes, you're right, some ask for advice and either don't want to hear it (or don't provide all the info and get defensive when you tell them you're not psychic lol).

    Thanks for the update!

This has been a great thread to follow. You deserve it OP for being open minded enough to listen to and act on the critique. Wear your red rosette with pride :D

Fantastic news!. Well deserved too as you took the critique on the chin and got stuck into the suggestions with great charm and aplomb.

It also shows that we (ahem) all know what we're talking about.

I shall be even more sanctimonious on the next "what's wrong with my house" thread now!

But good on you for taking criticism (with your big girl pants on) and actually posting back here to let us know. Keep updating this thread with progress....

I would think there must be a way round it by putting in a postcode of one of the properties at the front.
    No idea, though.

Yes, that's exactly how they can do it. The same thing happened when we sold our last property.Google street view was showing tha car park at the rear rather than the gardens at the front. Not rocket science but the EA mustn't even have checked the link.
