Hello,
Bob hugs to you and I hope MIL recovers quickly. Also hope that the sale moves fwd soon and you get a result rather than feeling in limbo.
Xspender Happy Housewarming!
apple muncher oh I can relate to the overwhelmedness, feel I am doing particularly bad despite making it part of this challenge. More below.
baibelle Hello and welcome. As we are more than half way through June, how about you keep lurking for the rest of the month (like test/practise run) and join us next month. Feeel free to post though and tell us more about you and how you are getting on.
NSK Your meal planning sounds well organised.
Had an ok weekend. Friday was great. A few drinks with hubby, playing songs from our wedding play list, silly dancing. As I have 7 weeks left to my race I thought that was a good way to end and take a break. So that means I have finally managed to be smoke free for 58 hrs now, just over two days. I will also go tea total from now. Fingers crossed.
Saturday was shopping day (totally blown the budgets again this month) and two parties. A kids one and a 50th. Gosh that was one of our mates. I remember my dad turning 50 and he seemed old. Anyway...On Sunday I sent DH surfing for father's day and me and the kids played at the beach. Sunday was a bad overwhelmed-ness day. Got upset by all the things I should be doing but didn't have the motivation to do or because I feel we can never get anything done because we always have the kids etc etc. The usual endless circle of thoughts.
However, being smoke free for two days has given me a boost. Got a small manageable to do list for this week. Some gardening, some diy, some cleaning. So will see. Gym and healthy LO lunch (tabouleh from the 50th party bag of leftovers we were given).
So onwards and upwards to nick NSK mottoDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Thrifty well done on being smoke free! U r brave being smoke free and tea total.
I find Monday the worst day for overwhelmedness. School is crazy, to do lists r thru the roof. I just need another weekend day. And this weather! Down south it feels like it has rained for weeks on end. It's so depressing. Hey ho Wimbledon starts soon and Olympics shortly after that.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #820 -

Hi All
Thanks for all the good vibes for MIL she came out today. She has 10 types of meds to take & has to go back & have laser treatment soon to get rid of the stones. But she is home for now.
I had good news to try and counter the ill health situation. Our financial advisor has managed to get us a new deal on our BTL that will save us £300 a month. That will kick in from August.
Smaller things, sold another ebay item today & had a bid on another. Also the envelope arrived from Envirophone and we packaged that up to send tommorow. Good for decluttering.
Managed to clear the front garden of weeds which Im glad about. Sadly 4 of my lavender plants had died but at least there is space to plant more now.
Night all

Quiet day (no spending).
Still not feeling like painting but lots sorted, put away, recycled and a list made. Charity bin still not emptied but it should be tomorrow. Asked DS2 about the recycling facility he took the old laptop to, but it's not suitable for another item (laptop just fit, this is bigger).
Today I am grateful for libraries, charity shops and food from the freezer. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Morning all,
We finally have a day with no rain forecast!
Yesterday was a SFD taking me up to 11, which isn't too bad considering I didn't get hardly any in the first week. Today my next examining contract starts so will have that to start on after work.
Hope you all get some dry weather today.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Good morning one and all,
Yesterday was another NSD however the £5 for my gym class today will ruin it for me! After that though, I should be having SFD's for the remainder of the weekdays! Feeling positive about having a strong finish to the month.0
