    Hello all

We have moved in to our new house (last Friday) and haven't has a single NSD this month  We are however happy as Larry and love our new house. I feel like I have always lived here. :happyhear

I want to hang on to what is left of my savings so it is back to watching the pennies.

Tomorrow won't be a NSD as I have to buy DH and DFIL a fathers day present and card. My Dad lives abroad and in the moving shenanigans I have forgotten to post him one so will ring him on Sunday instead.

DH is out tomorrow but this is from his personal spends.

Plans for the weekend are to finish the last bit of unpacking, get the house clean and tidy and not start any more DIY jobs. ;) I will have to do a small top up shop at the weekend to get supplies in for DH as I am away a couple of days next week.

On Sunday we are out for a meal with some friends, happy hour but still another spend

Let's hope I can finally have a few NSDs next week! In fact I might aim for a NSD week Monday to Friday. :)

A spend day again for me, really struggling with NSDs this month. Paid for my share of a father's day gift, bought OH some medication as he's full of the cold at the moment plus bought myself some chocolate.

XSpender glad you are enjoying your new home. Sympathise with the non stop spending and diy.

A quiet day for me. Waiting in for fridge being delivered - useful thin to have but not exciting. However it was delivered by a Viking - he was slightly less bulky (but better shape) than DS3 with red hair and a full beard. Woke early, dressed but stayed on the bed reading with a little walk round and gentle pottering every now and then to keep me awake.

Fridge came at 1 pm and I set the alarm for 3 pm in case i fell asleep. Did and felt much better after. Went to the library to see if the charity bin had been emptied - not yet, will monitor it as I have a sack to go. Little shopping trip to buy more wheels (for filing cabinet/ bedside tables and whatever wardrobe I end up with), metal strips for the doorways and 2 mini paint trays (not essential but will make things easier for touching up and on the stairs (full size tray won't stay on a stair by itself). Checked out the cs for wardrobes again - two of the ones I saw on Tuesday had already sold but a few more possibles if I can't get the big flat pack together (not even attempting it yet).

Came home and have done the essential painting - going over parts of a wall in DS3's room and a second coat on the pieces of furniture I have painted purple. Hope to be full of energy tomorrow so I can sort things properly before DS3 arrives home. I have started collecting diy bits to go to the charity shop.

Today I am grateful for delivery men who know their job (in and out, unpacked new fridge and took the old one in under 5 minutes), for charity shops and my new bathroom - really felt a wow when I walked into it today, maybe I was just too tired before and just wanted to get in the bath. Today it was more 'Does this belong to me?'.

mothernerd glad your bathroom is looking so amazing :)

Today should be a SFD as I'm not planning on going anywhere. I'm waiting in on a different builder coming to give me a quote and I might be able to get a bit more exam marking too, so need to stay in.

It also looks quite drab and murky out so I'm quite pleased to not need to go out.

Hope you all have lovely days.

Darn it. Wrote a long post then hit preview thought it was up but on clicking away its not. Boo.

Short version MIL is in hospital now. All such a worry after poor FIL being diognosed with cancer earlier this year. In her case it seems they are investigating stones of some kind based on symptoms. You know when everything just seems to come at once. They are 69 and 75 respectively & until recenty have been in very good health. I juat want them to enjoy their grandchildren and not be dealing with these scary big issues.

Does everyone still get 100 free listings a month on eBay? What are final fees? What else do I need to plan into the price?
