Dizzyblnd go you. 12 NSDs already, better get my act together.

apple muncher glad you could get an appointment so quickly for yourself. Horrible way of dealing with your DD accident by the school though.

Fmess S1 is the first secondary class. Mmmhh...organs sounds good. Will have think.

Today won't be an SFD either. Gosh I'm doing really badly in my own challenge  as I will get a cider or two :o to watch the Germany game tonight. Sorry being German (although female) I was born with the footie gene :rotfl:. It's on chromosome 14 but I only got one copy (males have two) so only watch interesting games :D.

Didn't get anything extra done yesterday but managed to read my book again. Definitely does me good. Feel like I am doing some "being" again rather than just "doing" if that makes sense.

Also gym session number 4 today.

I have had 3 very full on stressy days this week so far but today brings a pause. I have a box in the study of books and comics of OH's that have previously been on ebay but havent been listed recently. It is just one box of many but my goal is to list all of them again by the end of Sunday. Its such a repetitive task but if we dont do it they wont sell.

Have an estate agent coming at 1pm to value the lease. And another in the offing who I've been emailing. Hopefully should end this week with that information too. Apparently another local shop a little way from me is being taken by a small chain. So that is hopeful.

Have hassled OH again today to make sure he sends his Dad a card today for sunday. My son has made OH a card at school so thats done..

DD is looking smart in another lovely new outfit sent by grandparents but me less so. I noticed my shirt has a hole and frayed cuffs. Like you Thrifty I need to prioritize a few spends my way next pay period I think.

Right Turtles have a good day.

Roll call....where is everybody (in general, not this hour ;) )? NSK still here? It's getting a bit quiet and I feel I'm slipping. Strength and motivation in numbers and all that.....

Fmess we decided on doing blood and circulation as a topic. We'll let them make their own blood, do a blood clotting experiment with fake blood and investigate the blood types. Might also get a heart from the butcher etc.

Sounds like an excellent lesson thrifty and very interesting :)

SFD here today and finally a break in the rain. I've been able to walk the dogs and not get soaked and we're currently spending half an hour in the sunshine in the garden :)

Not much else to report, just waiting on my second examining payment.

I was pleased today. The pair of Air Max I found in the park sold for £20 on ebay. My total is now £66 for the month!

Also got 2 packs of brioche burger buns for 20p instead of £1.60 & 4 burgers for £1.60 YS oh and found 5p on my way home.

Not so good DD has viral conjunctivitis so we had to go to the docs today for drops. But she is ok and doc said its the best one of the 3 strains to have.

Good luck with your trip tomorrow apple. I've worked for two exam boards, one paid monthly and my current one (three letters with a Q in the middle) do their pay every two weeks, if I remember correctly.

I have just juggled some money and managed to pay £15 towards the debt :j I should have another £20 too, although I have bought something online for a friend so can only transfer it when she pays me back. I've just done a review of my finances and I am definitely not saving enough money because I am over spending, although nothing too frivolous, just not enough scrimping. Unfortunately, next month's budget needs to be generous as I have a wedding to go to and this entails - a taxi for a long journey (hoping to share with a friend and halve the cost), a wedding present, money for drinks on the day and money for the hen do. I am still able to pay £200 towards my debt so I need to focus on the positives :) and the following months I should be able to increase that to £400 or more :) I love spreadsheets :)
