The EU: IN or OUT?

I know that some people have labelled 'leavers' stupid on other forums but I don't believe that they are. As I've previously said, I don't agree with their vote but it doesn't make them stupid. They've simply interpreted the data differently to me.
I'm afraid that blutto isn't doing the leave voters any favours with their barely comprehensible and insulting ramblings.0 -

I hope you're right long term but I haven't heard too many economic experts chirping in on Brexit being positive in the short term for the economy. Looks like the next 2 years will be a struggle for small businesses in the UK.

Have you ever tried to move a factory or a production line. I have, though a much smaller one than a car production line. It is not easy. The idea that Nissan and the like can just abandon their existing investment in the UK is laughable. It is not just moving the robots, a hard enough process in itself - it is also moving the skills of the people. In 30 years time, the Nissan plant could have closed but it will still be going well in 10 years. Between 10 and 30 could be a decline but cars themselves could be in decline in that time frame.
Interestingly, the bigger they are, the easier they are to move. Countries/regions make it easier for you. And thats coming from someone who has been involved in moving several production lines (both out of the UK and into the UK). And in a project relocating a ship yard.
Our rivals will already in these companies ears, stressing the turbulence ahead. Companies like stability- and thats not what we are heading towards.Total - £340.00

I have said all week it will go BACK UP! The markets were out to make money and its a blip! Markets go up and down and also the £ is up against the dollar and Euro last i looked!:j
The media in the UK is not helping at all by stirring things up! they love it as it makes news and shock horror! Soon as the result was out they were trying to make things sound as BAD as possible!0 -

It will steady soon aslong as the EU is not going to make things difficult! It is now upto the un-elected cliche and MEP's voted for on behalf of member states to agree GOOD terms with the Uk now and its in THEIR interests to do so too!:money:0 -

Agreed. Calling people stupid doesn't help. We all know the yougov stuff that says the more highly educated your are, the less likley you are to vote out. You can then make a point that this then makes it harder for them to understand what they were voting for (because its easier to follow the sound bits of Farage, than all the various experts reasoning) . However I don't think thats fair.
One of the best arguments I heard in favor of leaving was from a farm worker who had seen his wage fall by £2.50 an hour. You certainly couldn't call him stupid.Total - £340.00

Not a chance they will get better terms than they have now. Germany and France have been wanting rid of those terms for years. Now is their chance. On a call today with an agent who covers infrastructure investment in north east England. He is pulling his hair out at the moment.Total - £340.00
