The EU: IN or OUT?

There isn't. You're against uncontrolled immigration or you're for remain
The only voters who can claim success so far is those that voted Brexit to avoid the UK being dragged into even closer integration with the EU. That certainly will not happen now.0 -
I am thinking, as the EU falls apart, France will go right wing, and become the new Germany, and Muslims will become the new Jews. With so many Syrians to absorb, Germany may not stay warm and fuzzy for too long either. There's a difference between watching refugees on TV and give to charity, and inviting them to live with you and have to wait for your own bathroom, and GP.
So, Schindler's List 2, Kinder Transport: The Sequel.
They are all going to want to come to the UK.
Tell them to go to Spain?0 -
Junker with his threats and rants!
I was watching the German TV business feature about Brexit yesterday. Industry and business leaders were saying they don't want any trade barriers put up whatsoever because
a) The UK us such a big German market
b) Many German manufacturers have UK factories exporting both back to EU and to the world.
Junke's sabre-rattling is exactly what Germany doesn't want to hear. In fact I think Germany would definitely br happy to see the UK granted a financial services selling pass to the EU just to ensure that trade & cooperation are not disturbed.
I can see Junke being on a collision course with Germany's great & good very soon.0 -

I feel that I was on a loser whichever way I voted and feel nothing more than unease which is what I would also have felt had the result gone the other way. I see advantages and disadvantages in either path but the vote was devisive and Cameron was a fool to have a referendum. However, although I neither like nor trust him and will shed no tears for his demise, the thought of Boris Johnson taking over is even worse!
I feel exactly the same. I don't regret my vote though.0 -
