Windows 10 installed in spite of me trying to stop it!

Your reading skills could do with some work. What I was complaining about was that Microsoft seized control of my property at a time of its choosing, without allowing me to wrest control back and finish my work that day.
Can you imagine if Ford did the same to your car (assuming you have a car)?
Don't cars do that an the time?!?
With anti-lock breaking, and crash detection?! They take over control from the user...Laters

All's well if Win10 was just an update - ITS NOT. Its a complete new OS upgrade, something NOT included within the T&C of Win7.
So saying No to the T&Cs is a way to stop Windows 10 installing.0 -

Presumably you've now ditched this terrible company and installed a different OS on YOUR computer which YOU own. Can you let us know what it is?but if you say 'No' at that point it should rollback to Windows 7 (or 8).
And even if it does install you've got 30 days to roll back to 7 if you don't like it. That should give you the chance to practice clicking a big 'No' button!0 -

I find it crazy how they can force you to update to Windows 10. I personally do not like Windows 10 so perhaps I am biased. The answer has been mentioned in here about letting it update, and then rolling back, but I think the fact they're trying to do this needs expressing.
Windows 10 = OK for phones. Not OK for desktops, in my opinion.0 -
it has been said several times that if it decides to update , you can either decline the new o/s , and it will revert back OR let it register them roll back to your old OS
if you let it install and register , your machine will accept a FREE copy of win 10 at future datesSave a Rachael
