Just had my direct debit figure for October - it is £67 less. Although they seem confused about £66 and £67...

This is £67.00 less per property than usual, to pass on the discount of the Energy Bill Support Scheme. From October, you'll receive a monthly discount on your account of £66 (rising to £67 from December to March) from the Government.

They're not confused, evey word they've written makes sense.
    • They have reduced your DD by £67
    • You will receive £400 from the government, £66 a month for two months plus £67 a month for four months.
Strictly this means that over the period you'll pay £2 less than you would otherwise have done, but that will no doubt come out in the wash.

So it's a £402 rebate not £400. They could have said.

No, still only £400 being credited to the account.

  • Prices finally updated to October prices in the online Octopus Dashboard yesterday however prices set in In Home Device have not been updated yet and are still on Pre October prices.
How much longer before Octopus get their act together and update these?
I assume I'm not the only one?

Going to have to be patient on the IHD update, it is the lowest of all the priorities right now as it is not used for billing.

contact them.. i've spoken to them via direct chat on Twitter about a different issue and happened to drop it out to them about the prices been wrong on the IHD and they've now updated them for me... It even knows about the off peak hours now and is able to work out my costs during the 7.5p hours.

Figures updated in both my online account & IHD today

Meters only installed on 28th so I’m still bumbling around the various sources (online account, app, IHD) trying to make sense of the info presented. Then I’ll move onto the economy measures. OH had a bit of a moment earlier when he saw the increases😏
