The way I see it is there are plenty of blokes I know who I would happily meet and chat with, and likewise plenty of women.

This isn't a wind up like some have said. I am thinking more and more with time that the friendship is not a good idea. I can't seem to avoid him at work, however I will not be contacting him outside of work that is for sure.

Is he hanging around you more than is necessary for both your work then? Hmm, sounds like the attraction is or was mutual.

I'm glad you have decided not to develop the relationship. You will be glad you did, when a little time has passed. Be extra nice to your husband for a bit, he was nearly the innocent victim in this.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Well we sit near each other and he takes the same breaks, I changed my breaks and so did he. I will be changing them again next week. He wasn't nearly a victim, I haven't and wouldn't do anything wrong.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Well, it is possible. However, people of different gender end up having feelings toward each other. You know the most common thing about this friendship is that one person has developed feelings for his friend and that friend does not share this. Therefore, friendship is over eventually.
Though, I have seen examples of true friendship between man and woman without having any attraction to one another.

  • Probably NOT but you do get clear platonic exceptions.
