EDF special tariff not for EDF customers?

I guess its now on hold until the 14 day cooling off period has passed anyway.
There is no 'cooling off' period for internal switches. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Well I checked on my EDF account and it is not showing the updated tariff as yet.
I will give them another week before I call them to see how my switch is going as I dont want to rock the boat at the moment0 -
I haven't had a letter yet,but I had a missed call yesterday from a unknown number.
I looked it up on a search website and apparently its EDF customer care.
I don't know what's going on.0 -
I have a missed call from EDF customer care this evening as well. Hopefully they will call again tomorrow.0

I had the "welcome" letter this morning.
I presume the system thinks I'm a new customer wanting to "move" from British Gas.
If they accept me I hope I don't end up with 2 accounts.
Two different EDF staff told me I could do it. (live chat and telephone) They knew I was an existing customer .
I'll just have to wait.Customer services never called back after the missed call Thursday either.0 -
I "switched" on 6th.
Got "Welcome" letter on 12th (first class so I assume they have had 2-3 days to check my application before sending me out "Welcome" letter).
Also got call from EDF on 12th which I deliberately didn't pick up - whatever happens will happen regardless if I talk to them or not.
My on-line account still shows Blue+ Price Promise June 2016 - it does not look good as in the past when I "switched" new tariff was in place by following morning...
If they kick me out then next option is Sainsburys which is £20 dearer but that is more than covered by £30 cashback and (double?) Nectar points. Problem is they are British Gas and I do not like them...0
