Looks like those with EDF cannot switch to the EDF energy simply fix may 2017? Can MSE confirm this to be the case?

That tariff was the winning submission for the Money Supermarket Collective Switch.
You needed to have registered interest in the collective switch via Money Supermarket in order to be offered the winning tariff. If you didn't do this I don't think there is anyway to sign up for it now.0 -
terms and conditions say:
If you’re a current EDF Energy customer, you’ll continue to be supplied on your existing tariff until we have processed your transfer.
which IMHO means it should be available to current customers as well
anyway, I have changed my CEC settings to another supplier and then Fix May 2017 is there for me to "switch" to it0 -
Gas cheap, electric expensive. Would save £4 pa over my existing EOn electric/ EDF gas but no gas only option. The gas would be £28 cheaper. Most of the collectives of late have been no gas only and they claw back the savings on one by high price on the other0

I am already registered and it comes up for a comparison with differing existing suppliers. However it is not only the list when selecting the existing supplier is EDF.0

It's available to current customers, anyone could have registered interest in the collective switch.0 -
That does not change the fact that is is not visible if I select my existing supplier is EDF.
If I select non-EDF current suppler, the special tariff is available.
If I select that I am an EDF customer, the special tariff is no longer visible.
I understand that it, according to t&c, is supposed to be available, however I am saying that based on my actual results, it is not.0 -
I have the same problem as I am a current EDF customer. With EDF set as the supplier the 'special' tariff does not appear in the results.
When I switch my current supplier to anyone else then it appears in the results.
Not on if its available to all.0 -

Whats CEC and what web site are you having issue with?
Its a Money Supermarket collective switch so any switches via other sites won't be allowed. You can't even sign up to by ringing EDF Energy directly.0 -
CEC = Cheap Energy Club.

When you select the tariff and 'switch' it takes you through to the Money Supermarket website where you fill in the details.0
