Have just emailed. Thanks for the info. I hadn't even realised the whole thing was about to expire. I assumed they would automatically issue these. Very disappointing!

Wonder how long it will take, now that it's the weekend. i got on holiday next weekend, so not got a lot of time to sort this out. :(
  • They still won't budge over mine, oh well, closing accounts always seems to make me feel better...

Has anyone tried using today's Daily Mail £5 off £35 food at M&S with this voucher? Wondered if it was worth buying food for £35 and present both vouchers.

Or even my Oxfam £5 off voucher and use only for clothing

So, having finally got my voucher on the 24th (hurrah!), tried to use it online - but the site won't accept it! (Fairly strange format, three letters/numbers-four letters.)

The lovely Nitesh sorted it out as a 'remote adviser' by getting me to put the order in and refunding £30 - for which many thanks!

So, if anyone gets the same problem, the way to resolve it is to get help from one of the online advisors.

But that's 20 minutes of my life online wasted - so unimpressed with M&S's handling of this.

I redeemed my code today. I bought £30 worth of food and checked with the cashier first that I could use the code before any potential embarrassment. I've now got lots of lovely goodies, including a bottle of wine, courtesy of M&S.
  • Just used mine too - but held up the queue while it was sorted. I bought wine (used two other offers - 2 for £6 and 25 per cent off 6 bottles) and I had some reduced food items. Six attempts to use voucher, then supervisor/manager tried (he looked at voucher and knew it was for credit card, so he must have come across problems before) and he had no luck to begin with either. I had normal price food in reserve in case there was a problem with that, but it wasn't as eventually, after a lot of button pressing it went through ok. So I have nearly £70 worth of food and drink for £3.80 which can't be bad!

I had tried to use mine for clothes online - not sale items, but together with a Sparks offer of 20 per cent off, but I got message saying only one offer allowed.

    Not much consistency!

I just sent another email, this time to the 247 email, and they have emailed me the voucher right now (within 6 minutes!). They said they sent it on 11th july, but I don't think I received it. All sorted now though, thanks all!!
