I replied its the loyalty factor that was not being factored in not the profit margin which he agreed and offered the same deal as Virgin which i refused on principle.
3.00pm another guy from EE calls saying we dont want you to leave i will even undercut Virgin by £2.00 as your loyalty is paramount to us.
I still refused and told him EE had there chance at retentions which he agreed they did but it was his job to retain me.
After a pleasant 10mins of chat instigated by him he came up with the offer any mobile i want even s7 edge for £20.00 a month and gave me the option of sleeping on the offer and to email him Friday
with a decision and they will give me whatever i want.
They seem now to think loyalty counts:T
You better snap there fingers off if they have offered you the S7 edge for £20mth even i would give them that and i only get 30 day sim-only deals normally don't like long contracts but i would make an exception for that.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -

That sounds too good to be true....0 -
Too good to be true.. probably, they will offer the earth Sun and moon over the phone, but just try and get them to email or post the offer in writing... it's amazing, not one of them can write!!! You need it in writing and to record the call, use ACR app or something similar. It's amazing how many times when the bill comes through, it's not the same as was agreed. Be warned.0

I tried to upgrade to a better deal yesterday. The shop worker whilst going over my bills noted that there was a charge for 17.50 each month for a wifi dongle. I have never used this product and upon further investigation he stated that it was returned to them 10 days after issue and had never been used. He calculated that I had been charge 17.50 for 35 months !
Granted I will take some flack for not checking my bill but I believed it was my home internet charge.
I will be asking EE to return the £612 but wondered if I should add subsequent interest and if so how much.
If anyone could advise I would be grateful0 -

To save the hassle, if you paid via Direct Debit, just contact your bank and invoke the direct debit guarantee. Money will be refunded straight to your account. An awful lot quicker and easier then trying to deal with EE and the various departments.0 -
OP - have you ever used Confused.com, Compare the Market or GoCompare? Have you switched suppliers for gas, elec, phone, insurance etc because some other company offered a better deal? If not, why are you on this site? If you have, then where is your loyalty?
Forget loyalty and, as others have said, business is business and it seems that companies are more interested in getting new business than retaining existing customers. Just play their game and don't treat it personally to cut your nose off to spite your face.0 -
