EE Retentions Deals

EE tend not to offer very attractive upgrade deals of you contact them directly. You will probably get a reasonable deal if you upgrade via CPW or another third party though.
wrong. As with any company select the 'if youre thinking of leaving us' option when dialling their CS (150). You'll get put through to retentions. Generally they will offer a good deal if you do a bit of research and see what else is out there and mention youve seen it cheaper.
if they dont, request your PAC code and hang up. They'll call you back within the 30 days.
Just have to speak to the right person and persevere.0 -
My 24 month contract ends on 8 April 2016. I always haggle asking for Pac code etc to get the best deal possible.
I was wondering however with there being a 30 day notice period should I do that next week before the contract actually ends or do I need to wait for it ending?0 -
It moves to a 30 day rolling contract .0

Ok so next week I should give them my notice so I can actually walk away on the 8 April when contract ends?
Presumably there is no early cancellation charge?0 -
It's either a notice or PAC. In the latter case you must use it to have the contract terminated.
The charge is the cost of the last month that you have to pay regardless. Nothing extra if you port the number out within this month. If the billing month is different, you will possibly be due some refund: Phone bills: reclaim unused credit0 -
Appreciate the help thank you kindly.0

Only issue with this may be that in previous end of contract situations I've waited for the contract to end. Threatened to leave and received a call within 24/48 hours offering me the deal I want to stay.
Presumably that deal won't be offered if I serve my 30 day period early potentially defeating the purpose altogether.

So contract ends on the 04/04/2016.
Just phoned EE and asked for PAC code. Aparantly if I use it today I will get charged £23 but if I use it on the 4 April 2016 I won't.
No idea how that works..
