Waiting for a buyer... Anyone want to join me?

Had second viewing last night, he suggested they'd be putting an offer in but no word from EA today. Fingers crossed!
Growing increasingly frustrated with EA over 2 weeks in no for sale board, no copy of contract & not proactive in the slightest - had no further interest since first couple of days. Can't help but think if this potential buyer does want our house they wouldn't deserve the commission at all!!0 -
Lor are you tied into a contract?
Apparently the people who bought our last house want to buy this one...though they have not been in touch. Just heard it on the bush telegraph.0 -

Yes, for 8 weeks on a sole seller basis. We negotiated it down to this from 12. I'm not sure what (if any) get out clause we have - I took a pic of the agreement we signed but don't have the small print to know the finer detail! Ive chased about everything & unsurprisingly all a bit quiet. All of this is proving the initial 'sales' pitch where they championed customer service to get your business really is a farce!
Obviously if this second viewing converts to a sale I'll just have to grit my teeth through the commission!0 -
Might be worth giving them notice at the appropriate time and trying another one if you haven't sold?0

Yes that's the plan! Just want to see the finer details on the agreement before doing so as have read horror stories of previous agents coming back for money when houses sell further down the line. So complex this house selling malarkey!0 -
finally got a viewing - Tuesday evening. Apparently a cash buyer who is wanting to let the property, the EA has gone through all the figures including projected rental amounts and he is happy. So fingers crossed! even though possibly if he makes an offer, he might come in quite low seen as cash buyer0

He might well come in low. Good luck!0

Ah Small holding...sorry about your viewer deciding to move to London.
Argh...frustrating.
We have the local couple coming back tomorrow for a 2nd viewing with both sets of parents. Lawns have been mowed, skirting board washed. Do you think a red carpet would seem a little desperate? As they are from the village, they know the pub is quiet so we shall see. They are happy as they wont need to do a single thing to the property as its all been refurbed.
This is the house we are drooling over at the moment. The views are incredible surrounding the house. Semi rural location just up the road from here. Not getting hopes up but its nice to dream.

the link you've posted ^^ I'm fairly certain that is the same house type we are buying brand new from TW if we manage to sell our existing house, how weird lol!0

viewer has cancelled - family member has been taken to hospital. Apparantly is still keen to view and has told the EA that they should call him by Friday if they haven't heard anything
not holding out much hope....floor plan has now been added to the listing though0
