Well, we went on market on Tuesday, and the first people who viewed last night have made an offer. they are first time buyers with mortgage in place so subject to valuation and survey we will have moved to sold subject to contract in 2 days! Can't believe it because properties in our area are usually taking a good couple of months to sell. Fingers crossed all goes well from here on in.0

Estate agent has been and taken new photos. She is going to put us on as a featured property.
Interestingly she didn't try to talk the price down.0 -
Hope the new pictures make a difference for you Smallholdingsister!!0

Well, we are now onto buyer no. 4. I am hoping this one sticks for us! We accepted the offer Wednesday, but the EA is still waiting for the buyer to get back with solicitors details. Which is making me rather nervous I have to admit, but I understand people have lives and aren't all like me and totally obsessed! Hoping it is just a case of being busy with other stuff.
With this one we complete the chain and the chain has already been running a few months. Really hoping we get to move forward this time!0 -
Thanks Loopyloops and fingers crossed!0

We had a viewer yesterday, seemed keen and were under offer. Awaiting feedback or an offer (ever hopeful) at the moment.
Found 2 houses we like, viewed both, probably a bit daft but we want to move asap so want to offer the day we accept an offer on ours.
If no offers by the weekend after Easter I'll be dropping the price £5k xDFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022
MFW Total £184,950 £179,066 to clear by 20350 -

Careful. I'd wait until things start to get moving first. I've had two offers withdrawn in the past simply because the idiots changed their minds a few days later. Glad I didn't go around putting in offers before solicitors had been appointed and sent out paperwork.0 -
Yes I think ideally you want to be a few steps behind your buyers, at least until they have spent some money.0
