    Whilst checking this a.m to see whether the bill has been produced for end of Oct. (it hasn't!!) I was surprised to see an estimated meter reading for 31st October on the account (even tho I had entered a reading on 28th) -wonder if this is the "technical issue" thats referred to?

    Just checked account and the reading I provided on 31st October 2017 is showing OK, and was used in the transaction record. Have taken screen shots; just in case it gets altered.

    Most suppliers will bill to the billing date. If a meter reading wasn't provided on the actual billing date. it will be estimated based on the previous customer read. Zog works this way so I make sure that I provide a meter reading on the last day of each month.

    Yup, currently, the balance is showing as calculated on my reading on 28th - just wonder if they were playing with billing everyone to a common date ie 31st.:)
  • Iresa have put in an estimated reading put in for 31st October for me too and reduced my credit balance accordingly - however I left Iresa on 3rd October and have been supplied by OVO since then......?!?

    Still waiting 7 weeks after leaving them for my credit balance refund

    Anyone reading this please be warned about IRESA's diabolical customer service

    According to your post 4 days ago, you have already raised this matter with the ombudsman service. You'll have to wait for them to propose a resolution to your complaint.

    Well, it's 7 weeks since I left, and two weeks since my unacknowledged ticket asking about my final bill.

    Still no updates, so I've a complaint letter sitting in an envelope on my desk, asking for my £115.90 back, just waiting for the Royal Mail pickup.

    Wonder if they'll respond to this any quicker than the ticket. I know they are supposed to but...

    Not sure if this is definitely linked with the technical issue but is anyone else seeing the same charges being taken out on 31st October multiple times?
    My credit balance has gone from over £100 to just £26 as £10.08 has been deducted 9 times with difference reference numbers on the 31st October for the period 21st October to 31st October? £10.08 is the right amount for that period but I raised a ticket to get that checked and wondered if that might be corrected with the technical issue and if anyone else saw anything similar on the Accounts page?

    Not happened to my account -the balance is still the same as calculated per my reading on 28th October - the reading for the 31st October is just sitting there -doesn't appear to have been used for anything (so far !!)
