    Oh dear, I am startign to post 'I told you so' stories:

    German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed "great regret" at the British decision, saying: "This is a blow to Europe and to the European unification process."

    I don't recall anyone in the remain camp explaining that voting remain would leave us taking part in the European Unification Process.....

    Indeed. How can it be a massive blow to something we wouldn't be involved in. Merkel should stop making comments that are blatantly untrue.

    Presumably because the UK leaving the EU will weaken Europe, it is hard to see that it will not somehow impact upon the European unification process, regardless of the fact that we wouldn’t have actually committed that far.
