I thought Gove did OK, far better than Cameron last night.

Does that make you lean toward voting out?

Have people done the Sky quiz?

DH and I have taken it and it seems quite accurate. We will probably cancel each other out. I am a Utilitarian apparently.

Unsurprisingly, the bloke that has lived in 3.5 countries gets:
Cosmopolitans generally adopt an inclusive view of Europe, embracing the diversity of the continent and its contributions to British society. They are the most ethnically diverse group within the United Kingdom, and identify almost equally with the UK, the EU, and the world.

Most Cosmopolitans believe that all Europeans—including those living in the UK—share a common set of values, many of which are enshrined in the laws and institutions of the EU. They see a role for the EU in the affairs of the UK.

Cosmopolitans tend to think that the EU has made a positive contribution to the economic prosperity and security of the UK.

Cosmopolitans are also broadly in favour of the EU’s migration policies. They think immigrants enrich the UK and they support measures to foster a more inclusive society.

Cosmopolitans will overwhelmingly vote to remain in the EU during the upcoming referendum.

Is PN visiting Sydney? It's chucking it down and the best (worst) is yet to come.

YOUR CLOSEST FIT - Europhile - Along with 9% of the UK

Europhiles tend to define themselves as much by their sense of belonging to Europe as to the United Kingdom. They generally see their identities less as a matter of ancestry or culture than as a set of common ideals and values which are shared by all Europeans. They are, on average, the most enthusiastic supporters in the UK of an ever closer union among European nations.

Europhiles are the most likely of any group to support further integration with the EU. They believe in establishing a level playing field among member countries and that clubbing together brings all EU members greater influence on the world stage. They are generally supportive of the role the EU plays in governing British affairs and tend to believe that the EU strengthens democracy in the UK.

Europhiles are enthusiastic supporters of diversity who welcome immigration and embrace multiculturalism. They are generally supportive of migrants from other countries within the EU who choose to make their lives in the UK. They believe that the UK should accommodate cultural differences.

Europhiles largely view the EU as a positive economic influence on the UK. They tend to perceive of the EU as having improved international trade as well as job prospects in the UK. They are broadly supportive of the EU’s expansion and, while not overly enthusiastic about admitting new members, are more supportive of the idea than most people in the UK.

Europhiles overwhelmingly support remaining in the EU.

    Not surprised.

I know I am blinkered in this debate but I think it is much easier for exit to make a positive case than remain because those whole-heartedly in favour will vote remain anyway and those in the middle are put off rather than motivated by the thought of 'a glorious future within the united states of europe'

I am also firmly in the stay camp and have heavy blinkers.
However I think you might be right that the Exit campaign COULD make a positive case, but they DONT.
If you look at the case being put forward on this forum and elsewhere and treat it like a business plan.
The exit campaigns business plan is full optimistic will do.
Any plan put forward like that would recieve a polite no thank you and you would be shown the door.

If anyone came to me with a plan that said they would sign agreements with these country's and when asked had any preliminary discussions had taken place, the reply was no, what do you think I would say!
You cannot put your life and future of yourself and your children in the hands of wishful thinking.

Interest Rates on 10 years Gilts have apparently dropped from 2% at the start of the year to 1.34% now.

We're told all the financial institutions are warning against Brexit but in the real world investors don't appear to see a problem.
