but you are also claiming that those 'nice' Germans are going to deliberately harm the people of Germany and the EU27 just to spite the UK

I'm not heard your racial hatred of the English before but it explains a lot.

Its pretty obvious really Clappers. Re. the Welsh/English thing.....I managed to keep it on the rugby pitch....most of the time;)
Wouldn't call it hatred more like a bucket of cold water to shake the little Englanders and colonel blimps out of their lingering sense of superiority.....a recent example of which is Cameron's claim that he has gained a special deal in Europe:rotfl:
Why on earth should he think we should need a 'special deal'......more lies to stroke the ego of the usual suspects? He never fooled you though did he Clapton;) You can see right through him!

Interesting, I would say those in the middle are motivated by the thought of the status quo and not what at times appears to be a big gamble.

That describes me, I don't have much to gain, but plenty to lose by rolling the dice.
Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop

When you see national flags of independent nations being carried by teams in Brazil this summer, will you as Cleg implies be thinking "who the heck is that 'isolated' nation"?

Will you see the flag of Japan or Australia, Canada or NZ and think "ha that's one of those isolated, dreadful, unsafe nations with no influence Clegg warned us about"?

Its not either or though is it! I'm proud of being Welsh when I watch rugby.....usually anyway:o......but at the same time I believe in the Union and would be very sad to see Scotland leave it. I love my football team....I'm a fanatical Evertonian.....(sorry Saints he's coming get used to it!). I'll love supporting the UK at the Olympics.....and I also love being in the EU. I like being part of the project, the sense of common purpose with other like minded nations.....the desire to get rid of borders is strong in me as an ideal ultimate goal. I also like the feeling that I have back up from neighbours when/if there is say a problem with Putin for example. It is no suprise either that anyone who has actually experienced being a Prime Minister, President etc has said that it is right that we are part of the EU.....and I'm prepared to be honest and say it .....yes I'm a Federalist and Yes I'll want a common currency when the time is right. The days of the nation state and all the tedious hang ups and petty squabbles associated with it will hopefully disappear into the dustbin of history!

On the other hand you will be all right whatever happens so are in a good position to think about what is best for the country as a whole in the long run and not just your own personal immediate benefit.
    I think....

Not good to diss your Boss but ....oh my God was he poor!. He was so so patronising and didnt have a straight answer to what would happen should we Brexit. He was just coming out with all the sentimental crap about British spirit , ingenuity blah blah blah.....as if we are special and different to the rest of humanity. I dont care how wonderful he thinks British people are......I dont care what he thinks of me......I just want a straight answer! The reality is as the guy in the audience said....these loons are beckoning us over the top telling us how wonderful it will all be with absolutely no-one with standing etc backing them up. He couldnt name one economist, one organisation or one international leader backing his cause!
