well everyone, I couldn't wait. I decided to use my frist response test this morning. Didn't tell hubbie I was doing it as didn't want to get his hopes up.

Anyway - turns out it is a BFP.

We are in total shock. Last month we tried our best but I got my ov dates wrong so missed the best time. We didn't miss this month - AND we had a lot of fun at the same time :D

First time in about an hour and a half that I've stopped shaking - ok then, still shaking but not as bad.

did a clear blue digital just to make sure :D

what on earth do I do next????????????? I'm absolutely petrified

    Congratulations!!! :T

That's fantastic news, I'm so pleased for you and hubby!

I wish you all the very best for the coming months :j

Well AF finally arrived yesterday :j although after celebrating i am now in agony and remember why i went on the pill to start with! but as you can't have a baby whilst on the pill i'll just have to grin and bear it! :D

My first period after being on the pill was very painful. My hormones went mental and the pain was immense. Don't get depressed thinking that you'd forgotten how painful they were - this is just the worst one!

Congratulations startingttc, that is brilliant news!

Honeypop - if it make you feel better, I think it is completely normal to have those feelings when ttc. I know I cried loads (when I got home) when my best friend told me she was pregnant. I was so pleased for her, but so upset for me too! I finally managed to get pregnant, and now I am only 4.5 months(ish) behind her so it will be lovely to have two babies of a similar age if everything goes ok.

Oh - something else to think about which may or may not be helpful. I recently went for my 12 week scan, and the sonographer told me I have a tilted womb. I googled it, and about 20% of women have this. I read that if you do have a tilted womb, it may be best to 'do it' from behind and lay on your stomach afterwards, if trying to concieve. I had been lifting my legs up onto the wall, I guess that made it more difficult! So, if you have been trying for a while, maybe try this way to cover all angles. I had no idea I had this.

    Good luck! x

That is excellent news, Cherish the next nine months you will miss them when they are gone.

I will keep an eye out for you over on the pregnancy board to see how you are getting along, hopefully some of us will be over there too soon...

    Thats great news startingttc!! Congratulations!!

Well, we are still trying but not that often!! The OH is away but we managed to do it on CD9. I don't have a clue when I ovulate, although I did get a couple of twinges down there on CD11 and 12 but I suspect that CD9 is a bit too early in anycase?? My cycle is usually 28-30 as days. I really should find out when I ovulate!:o

Congrats STTC. It's the best feeling ever. We will be TTC for our second July time so started to take folic now. Also trying to use ov kits so I know my cycle more. Tiz a nightmare as the cheap ones are so hard to read and the digital ones are so expensive and the last pack of 7 only four worked without errors.....
