Hi honeypop.
I think for me its "that's another one that's beaten me to it then".
That does describes how I feel. I think that yes I might be hormonal at the moment and am hoping that AF is due this weekend to explain my hormonal-ness. I cried yesterday when my mum didn't like my wedding invitations, and went to bed at 8pm, so I'm not feeling right I know that much!
Thanks guys for your support. And thank goodness I have my wedding to focus on as I know ttc will be driving me mad by now if that was all I had to think about. Good news though, I had quite a substantial payrise last week (13%) and was told that as I'm getting married they expect a family will be on the way soon also (typical men and their straight-talking lol) and they said they would rather I came back on flexible hours at whatever days and times suits me, than lose me altogether. I said yes that had crossed my mind and that was a generous offer.0 -
Well AF finally arrived yesterday :j although after celebrating i am now in agony and remember why i went on the pill to start with! but as you can't have a baby whilst on the pill i'll just have to grin and bear it!
i was working out my dates and whilst its 50 days since my last pill induced AF, i spotted for a few days on day 26 so i'm wondering now if that was an attempt at a period but as i have been on the pill so long i hadn't properly started to build up good lining so there wasn't much to lose.
whilst working this all out i have remembered that i thought it was good going on the pill many moons ago as i would have longer between AF's so i think i may have had a shorter then normal cycle anyway.
Does anyone know if a 25/26 day cycle could cause any problems? I had some tummy pains on the 4th which could have been OV pains so that would make my LP 12 days.0 -
Well that's day 28. No AF. Did have a bit of what I thought were AF cramps last night - till i realised it was wind (no laughing please!).
last month I was obsessed with poas, but this month I am terrified as don't want to get a BFN, then I'll feel bad for 'wasting' an expensive test and wish I had just waited.
So going to wait and see what the weekend brings. anyone in the same boat?0 -

Meeeeee
CD29 today and nothing, felt a bit heavy low in tum yesterday and thought AF was on it's way but nothing yet!!!
I am scared to poas too, in case of a BFN. I will hold out as long as I can, well at least until after the weekend....
Just the other day we took the dog for a walk, and going down one of the alleyways nearby found a box and a used pg test with a Positive test result just lying there. Somewhere there is now a teenager (most likely) with a possibly unwanted pregnancy.....not fair is it!!!
Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Thanks Mel - sometimes it makes it easier knowing you aren't alone
not sure that I can hold out until Monday - we'll see.
why is this emotionally so difficult!!! At least I ahve improved from last month and haven't let it cramp my every thought for the whole month :roll:0 -
Hiya,
CD 34 for me now of a normal 21/23 day cycle and still no AF. 4 Negative tests and some really light spotting and that's it. This is doing my head in now lol
Think i'm gonna wait and see if me next AF (due 24th May) comes, if it doesn't i'll go to docs then and see what's going on.
Good luck all

Stargirl - as far as I know it is only when a cycle is less than 21 days that it's recommended to be checked by a doctor. I think a luteal phase defect would be more significant than having a 25 day cycle and as it is only a defect if under 10 days I don't think you need to worry! A luteal phase of 10 to 17 days is supposed to be fine (although some doctors say anything less than 12 days so even being on the cautious side your luteal phase is fine. I've been trying to lengthen mine - increased it by 2 days last month so hoping it will increase another day to make it 12 days this month - well can only hope0 -
well everyone, I couldn't wait. I decided to use my frist response test this morning. Didn't tell hubbie I was doing it as didn't want to get his hopes up.
Anyway - turns out it is a BFP.
We are in total shock. Last month we tried our best but I got my ov dates wrong so missed the best time. We didn't miss this month - AND we had a lot of fun at the same time
First time in about an hour and a half that I've stopped shaking - ok then, still shaking but not as bad.
did a clear blue digital just to make sure
what on earth do I do next????????????? I'm absolutely petrified0 -
