I'm not sure if it's late or not as it's the first AF since coming off the pill, its been 34 days since my fake AF...it said to wait 3 days before doing another test so if no AF by the end of the week i'll test again.

Thanks for the above - think i will try to keep an eye on such things in the future

As you've only just came off the pill, it might take some time for you to have a regular cycle. Everyone's different. Some friends took months but one got pregant in the 2nd month! I would start charting to understand the cycle better & at the same time try to BD every 2-3 days if you can. :D

Saying that, my HPT is only 99p for 10 sticks excl postage & averages to 30p per stick. So, if I feel the need to POAS each day after AF is due, I think it's still reasonably cheap, just not too MSE :p But, at least it satisfy my emotional well-being for the day! :D

Agnus Cactus is the common name for Vitex Agnus Cactus. Some calls it Vitex for short. It is aka Agnus Castus Chaste Tree or Chaste berry just to make it even more confusing! It is used to regulate periods but not to be used when you are pg. This is used to shorten LP.

Here is some info on it
    http://www.alternative-healthzine.com/html/0700_2.html

Pre-seed is lubricant for people TTC. It mimics a woman's CM & is sperm friendly. You can get them from a few websites eg. access diagnostic, baby mad or smefertility.

Robitussin contains Guaifenesin which is a decongestant used to clear mucus from your nose but also thins CM making it easier for sperm to get through the cervix. Apparently you take it during your peak fertile period.

VK, it's best you consult your GP before taking any drugs just to be 100% on the safe side. In the mean time, remember to eat well, exercise & take supplements to boost your fertility - this applies to your OH as well.

    HEY

me and my OH went to gp this morning for appointment onif we are doing anything wrong, she said we are doing everything right, advised not to smoke or drink but neither of us do any of them

we asked about any of the remedies mentioned in the previous article but she said that nothing is clinically proven so we are best to carry on and come back once been tryin for about 23 months so at the 2 year mark we canget referred if no luck she said it might just take time

she asked about refular periods which i do have so she said thats fantastic as it means i am ovulating about every month which is half the battle - yeah some good news lol

but i found a thing on a wedsite that we are going to give a try

    http://www.pregnancyloss.info/sperm_meets_egg_plan.htm

if anyones tried it could you pls say if it was helpful or not

after 15 months of trying natuarally we will give anything a go

but docs def said up to 2 years is normal so hope that reassures some people

Isn't it strange how each area varies. My doctor will see us and start taking bloods and things after a year, I think I would get extremely frustrated if I had to wait until 2 years before I could start along the 'what to do if something's wrong' path.

    Hi All

I had my Blood test results back....and everything came back fine. which is good news, but as he pointed out it doesn't really sort out why i can have a cycle that varies between 5wks and 4mths!!!
He suggested that some of my other symptoms were due to a slightly over sensitive reation to oestregon and suggested maybe taking progeterone before AF arrives, !!!!!! how on earth am I even meant to know when AF is coming...that is part of the reason i went to see him in the first place!!!!

Does anybody on here suffer OV pains????? I am on cycle day 12 so in an average cycle this would be around the right time to OV..yes?
Well this afternoon I strarted with a funny sharp stinging pain in my lower left ab, which is still there but it is more of a dull pain now...I have felt this before and it was around couple weeks before last AF (can't remember exactly) so I wondered if these could be OV pains? I hope So. We BD'd day before yest and will do again today and try for thurs and fri too just in case.

Yep I get them. Not every month though and they usually last a day or two.

Glad your bloods came back ok but like you said, you still aren't any further forward than you were before them.

    Hi there!

Just a quick intro from me! I've only just registered for the site even though I have been lurking for what seems like an age :o

I have had my mirena coil removed this week so that we can ttc. My last pregnancy was in 1988 so I dread to think how things have changed since then!!!!!! Do any of you ladies have any experience of how long it took your cycle to get back to normal after this method of contraception?

I am coming up to 36 and hubbie is 38 at the mo...

Looking forward to chatting to you and sharing experiences ...

    Kathy

    Hi Kathy -

I had this done mid march. My periods are normally regular monthly cycles but after having the coil removing I had a week long period shortly after - following a week later by another week long period. It seems that this are back to normal now thou. Good luck.

Hi, yeah I posted about that last month, I seem to just be getting ovulation pains recently, I've not had them before. The info that was posted on here for me basically said nothing can be done about it apart from putting you on the pill (not good for any of us, eh?) and that it should be ok really. They also said that doctors don't quite know what it is, but that it is suspected that when your egg is released there is a minimal amount of bleeding. This then agitates the abdominal lining as it gets absorbed back in.
There you go, that's what I learned. Guess we have to live with it:p
