Heck yeah its like that for me 24/7 :rotfl: As soon as AF is finished my mind starts obsessing that this month could be the one.
And it doesn't get any better. We have been trying for 4 years and I still feel like this.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Hi there!
Just a quick intro from me! I've only just registered for the site even though I have been lurking for what seems like an age
I have had my mirena coil removed this week so that we can ttc. My last pregnancy was in 1988 so I dread to think how things have changed since then!!!!!! Do any of you ladies have any experience of how long it took your cycle to get back to normal after this method of contraception?
I am coming up to 36 and hubbie is 38 at the mo...
Looking forward to chatting to you and sharing experiences ...

Hi Kathy and welcome.
I can't help you with the coil question as I was on the pill.
Just wanted to wish you luck and say this thread is a great source of info and wish you (and all of us) good luck.

Me again Kathy
I know you want personal experience of cycle's returning to normal after the mirena coil but I just done a quick google and found the following....(Taken from 2 seperate sites)
***Removal involves a speculum examination again and the IUS is removed by pulling on the strings. This is only uncomfortable for a second or two as it comes out. The hormone effect on the lining of the womb is reversed within a month and normal periods and fertility returns.***
***What if I want a baby?If you want a baby, ask your doctor to remove Mirena. Your usual level of fertility will return once the system is removed.***
So it seems you can get pg pretty much straightaway.
Good luck.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

Sorry to be silly but where are the 10 for £3 tests on access diagnostics?
Thanks0 -
...and do you think a large weight loss affects your cycle?0

Hi efrieze.
Here's a link for the tests....

I don't know that answer to that one. I have heard that loosing so much that you make yourself underweight can affect cycles but I'd have thought that if you keep within the weight ranges as recommended by doctors you should be ok.
I am in no way a professional though and if you are worried I'd advise seeing your Doctor or practice nurse.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

I agree with what Shelly, efrieze. I believe you need to find your ideal weight range based on your height for optimum TTC body condition.
Ladies, AF is overdue by 3 days now. A little unusual as it is usually spot on time. We didn't BD much so don't think my chances are high but its definitely better than last month's poking session!Oh, I LOVE pre-seed!!
Still a BFN for the last few days. This month, I have strange constant minor pain at lower abdomen. It could be either ovulation pain or implantation pain but for some reason, I don't think I ovulate this month - there wasn't much EWMC compared to last month too! And my saliva ovulation kit says I was only fertile for 1 day!
Edit update: Have bits of brown spotting now, guess AF will be here soon! :mad:0
