redmel1621 - hi! ovulation tests would be ideal for you, especially as you have irregular cycles and the only way of knowing when you ovulated is that you get AF 2 weeks later! ( not much help knowing that when its too late!) I got mine off ebay as you can buy like 30 for just a few pounds. So buy them now, get them in a few days time and start doing a test everyday until you see 2 lines then its GAME ON!!!0

also of you didnt see af for 8 weeks it means you didnt ovulate until two weeks before. so you must have had a six week gap then ovulated?0

Ah Thanks wishing.
I might just get some of them then....
Just thinking on what you said, some cycles I must have gone 10 weeks before OV then.
I have to go back docs for my blood test results, he thinks I may have a hormone problem!!!! I'm not really sure what he means, I hope the tests don't take too long to come back.

Hi all, can I join in?
I've been off the depo for a year now and think AF has just about returned to normal. Haven't done any OV tests though so not quite sure about that. Had my last AF 2 weeks ago so should have been ripe at the weekend. We BD'd Friday and Saturday, so waiting to see what happens! Not going to get too excited though - I know what a long and frustrating journey it can be!
Just ordered some pregnancy tests from ebay in preparation!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
In the spirit of MSE, I found 2 discount codes if you are thinking of buying any TTC related "tools". But, do surf around before you buy as some websites are cheaper.
Sorry, I don't know the expiry dates of these codes. HTH someone.
SME fertility: 5% discount - RE100
Babymad: 5% discount - ivillage0 -
Also in the spirit of MSE, Boots own twin pack pregancy tests are currently on half price (so £4.99). They had run out so i think you'll have to be quick!0

£4.99 for 2 tests
Blimey, I get mine from savers for £1 each. Even better is if you bulk buy from somewhere online like accessdiagnostics.
Their prices are as follows.....
2 Early Pregnancy Test @ £1.99
5 Early Pregnancy Tests @ £2.29
10 Early Pregnancy Tests @ £3.00
20 Early Pregnancy Tests @ £5.00
40 Early Pregnancy Tests @ £9.00
80 Early Pregnancy Tests @ £17.49
I'd say the 5 or 10 pack is the best buy unless you are going in with someone else. Oh and I'm sure they do free 1st class delivery too.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I bought eraly response midstream pg tests on ebay last month - thye cost approx £3 something for 5 tests. However, I wasn't convinced by them so ended up splashing out on a first response test at the end of the day when AF was late. Basically I became a poas addict!!!
This month my addiction to poas is satisfied by my persona monitor, so won't be using poas pg tests unless VERY late0 -

I know what you mean. When we first started TTC I wasn't convinced by the cheapie tests so used to buy Predictor tests as they weren't too pricey. Then as the time dragged on I thought I can't keep spending all this money every few months.
I spoke to my doctor and he said they are all pretty much the same except some come in a fancy plastic holder and you pee onto them rather than dip them in your pee.
I now only use the cheap £1 each ones from savers, when they run out I shall get the 10 for £3 from accessdiagnostics. That way I'm not bothered if I use a couple at a time.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
