redmel1621 - 7 years!!!?? oh I hope it wont take that long!!! although I never thought we would still be trying after 4!! I am so pleased for your friend! Bless her 7 years is an awful long time. Maybe giving up all hope is sometimes a good thing? I have kind of decided it will never happen and that has taken a bit of pressure off but when the hospital keeps telling me its the LAST GO at IUI etc its hard not to feel the pressure! x

i think just coming off hte pill has a huge amount to do with it - I've only been off about 7-8 weeks now and my cycle obviously hasn't settled down.

I found that a padded bra felt easier to wear

Thanks Starting...although no luck with the padded bra - they don't do them in my size...although if they grow when PG then i'll be in Maternity bras from the off! :eek:

well looks like the depo injection is fianlly getting out of my system. AF arrived yesterday. so hopefully now will be able to see what type of cycle i have. was never regular at any time till i went on the pill so will be interesting to see what happens now. just wish i didnt have the pain cos that i used to hate!!

Hi All

I went docs today, like I said I would!! I am booked in tomorrow to have loads of blood taken, he is getting me checked for thyroid, hormones and a few other things. He was sure all the complicated tests would come back fine and thinks it is simply down to hormones.
The tests take 10 days to come back, so I have to go back to see him when they are all back.

I just want to ask though, I had spotting yesterday but nothing today and I don't feel like AF coming, my friend seems to think it might be implantation bleed. I have not really heard of this before, and I didn't have it with my last two full term pregnancies....can't remember having it with MCs either. How long should I wait to test again, just to see? Although I know I will be dissapointed so maybe I shouldn't test......(AF 'should' be due on sunday)

Redmel,
Could the GP test for HCG in your blood? Its much more sensitive than the urine HPT. I got the results of mine back the next day.

If you are due sunday I would wait to do another test, at least until you are late.

Hi everyone hope you are all good. Can I just ask a very personal question How often does everyone BD? DO u think its best every 2 days or every 3days? Also my friend says to get hubby to take cold shower 30 mins - 1 hour before BD....is this right??? Or is she just being sick to my poor OH??

I wouldnt bother with daft things like cold showers!
Every two-three days is supposed to be good.

We do it every 2-3 days, we have no set rule that is has to be every 2 days or 3 days, it depends on lots of things. On hubbys work commitments, if either of us is too tired, he might be asleep before me etc etc

For example. If we BD on monday night we will BD again on wed or thur. If wed doesn't happen for some reason it will definately happen thur. Then if it happens wed nite, we will then aim to BD again fri or sat.

We go through fits and starts with how often we BD. This month we've been really good and kept it every 2-3 days, but we often will do it once a week or so if we've got things on, and make sure it's every other day around ovulation. It just depends on how tired we both get with everything else in our lives!
