I'm at the BD period this & next week. Both DH & I are finding it difficult to BD coz the pressure is ON! Well, hopefully it'll be better this weekend.

miss_pink - Baby Centre as suggested by Fritha is a v popular one. I lurk at a few forums but don't subscribe to any. Sorry, don't remember the site but baby centre was one of them. Friends have said to get on to the American ones.

Hi all - Test was negative. Yeay! (one of the only chances we'll have to be happy at a BFN on this forum)
Test was a little weird - and I had to enlist hubby to swab me (he must really love me!) but not as difficult as I first thought. I feel much better now - and I hadn't even considered worrying until a few days ago!

Hi guys. I have just finished reading from the begining and, I have learnt so much so thank you all.:T Thought I would share my very short journey so far. I came off the pill 20/02/08 after being on it for better part of 18yrs had my normal pill induced AF that weekend. My 1st proper AF was CD41! I was beginning to think I wasn't OVing:eek: After reading this thread I realised on the Saturday of the Easter wknd (when pill induced AF would of been due), I had EWCM and dull, annoying period like pain very low down then, exactly 2wks later AF finally made an appearance:j. AF finished now and, as hubbie was joking around I said to him if he wasn't careful we would start TTC tonight and, he replied why not! So......... we have. At least I know I did OV last mth and fingers crossed I should again nxt wknd don't want a 41CD all the time! But at least the LP part was 2wks. Oh well fingers crossed for me and everyone else TTC for this cycle and, big congrats for all those that have had the magical BFP's. I have also started taking my folic acid as well. Any other advice would be appreciated. I think I will pop over to acessdiagnostics.com and get some pg tests stock up.

Was trying for a year then joined http://www.fertilityfriends.co.uk/forum/ (ttc message board)(free basal body temperature charting site, or pay to join for it to flag up your fertile times!) . The fertile temperature chart showed quickly that are timings where all wrong. I also did the free fertlity online daily course & then felt a complete expert on my signals, body& timings. So by month 2 of joining we knew where we were going wrong & conceived the following month on the 3rd month of being a member. Baby is now 10months.

The support from the others is tremendous as I would feel very low that I had lost my chance of getting another child. The others members are so educated & knowledgeable about fertility & can help you to get the best out of your gp & what are the best tests to go for. The site helped me to feel not so desperate for a child & to accept that I may just have one child and that was OK for our family. I have a MSEr to thank for suggesting the site in the first place.

had it officially confirmed oh sperm is broke! Count of 2 million (should be 20 million).
So its officially scary times coming up. He has to have blood tests and depending on the outcome of them, it could be IVF time

Really don't knw what to say except fingers crossed on your OH's blood tests report. Didn't you asked some weeks ago or tried the men's clomid equiv? That didn't work?

Hi, I have read the thread from the beggining it has been a great read, It has taken me a bit of working out what all the acronyms are but i'm getting there!!

I am ttc at the moment, and I was particularly interestd in all the parts of the thread about working out ovulation dates and the pains that can come with it, I have been on the pill since I was 15 so i've never felt any of these before, but I think i now know when i'm Ovulating I get tightening in the lower abdomen and can't sleep well....very warm and irritable.

I have two boys, first was concieved whist I was still on the pill and the second was conceived the very month I came off the pill to try...
I have also had two early miscarriages since ds2 last one was 3 years ago now. Since this last miscarriage my body has never really recovered and got into a regular cycle I tend to have a period anything from 5wks to 5mths so as you might imagine I am having a bit of trouble falling pg.
My last Period was just over 7wks ago and it is only the last few days that i think I may have Ovulated,(symptoms as above) although I only think that now, after reading this thread and matching up symptoms.....

I have fallen very quickly with all 4 of my last pg's even though 2 mc i am now worried that i might not be able to fall pg again and that last mc has messed up my body.

Hi skint. Sorry to hear about your OH but now at least you can get things moving.

Just a thought.......I went back a few pages and saw no reference to what sort of tests your OH was going to have....was it a doctors/hospital test or a do-at-home test?
If it was a doctor/hospital test and was his first I'd ask for it to be done again. If it was a DAH test I'd get a proper one done.

I only say about getting another one done if it was his first because my hubby had his first at the hospital and it came back very low, they admitted though that they had let it cool down. He had another one done and they tested it immediately and all came back ok.

If of course he has had more than 1 at the hospital ignore all of the above
