Hi girls. I'm not doing fab today, got a job interview shortly and I'm bricking it!
Anyway back to subject, I don't use any other TTC forums, only this one. What advice I can't get from you guys I ask my consultant.
Finished AF yesterday and have got the pre-seed I ordered. I only ordered one box of 6 as hubby said not to get too many just incase we don't get on with it. Going to try to work out roughly when ovulation is and only use them around that time otherwise they will be gone by the time I ovulate:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Can I just ask what other TTC forums you all use?
I found baby centre has a fab TTC forum section, I joined the Losing Weight While Trying To Conceive one and they're really friendly, lots of different people with different circumstances :-)Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

they both have a fluid to add which mimics your CM, both are then heated, and the reaction of the motile sperm to the liquid results in a positive or negative result (one by checking the colour, the other by presenting a +/- result).

So, colour dye = CM
Good motile sperm gives positive reaction to colour dye. Didn't cross my mine dye is equiv to CM!
But the colour chart doesn't say what the different colours in + or - represents. Wish it says darker or lighter pink means you have more/less motile sperm.
Do you think no. 1 on test tube = 20mil/ml sperm count?0 -
Just to let you all know I popped into the chemist and bought a home chlamydia test - cost me about 12 pounds. I'm going to do it tonight I think. I have ventured as far as opening it, and it's much more complicated than peeing on a stick, but after a re-read I'm pretty sure I've got to grips with it. So if anyone else is thinking they'll get tested to check themselves out, it's not as difficult as I first thought.
Thanks for the research on ovulation pains girls! That was interesting reading.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
I saw a Chlamydia test in boots today - was £25 so I think you've got a bargain there Jiblets! I've got my fingers crossed that you don't have chlamydia xx0

hello everyone.
hope you don't mind the essay to follow!!!
I tested today - AF due Sunday, I used a first response. It was a BFN. So I think that's it for me this month.
I feel a bit odd about it all. This was the first full cycle we were ttc, so i wasn't really expecting miracles, but I had symptoms I had never had before, and now I feel i don't know my body at all.
Positives to take from this month
I still get to go on holiday at christmas (would have been my due month if pg this month), better from job point of view, lovely to have DH to myself for a few more months, gives us more time to build savings reserve etc etc
Emotions to take from this month
while DH and I were committed to ttc, I don't think either of us had been 100% completely sure either of us were ready, but now we definately know that this is the way to go. I also learned not to get my hopes up, or DH's, early on!!!!
Lessons learned this month
although I thought I was relaxed about it all, must actually try and relax more. Knowing when ov occurs is important and will b e charting that more in the coming month. Don't test too soon - you can't tell that early so don't waste tests/money/emotions. and above all I really love my DH and BD'ing is a lot of fun!!!!
thanks for keeping me sane guys!!!! It's lovely to know that you are here.0 -
