Fingers crossed, Static. Sounds like you're staying nice and calm either way, so well done for that!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

I've got my fingers crossed for you too static that they are implantation pains xx...and do you think a large weight loss affects your cycle?
I've been reading lots of books on preconception care and advice on conception diets. One thing that I have read several times is that it advises that for the 3-4 months before starting to conceive it advises against weight loss because the body is not getting sufficient nutrients which can affect the ova / hormones needed for conception etc. I found it interesting that the research suggests that even though a healthy BMI should be between 18.5 and 25 the optimal BMI for conception is actually 23-24 so I feel better now not being a size zero
Following advice about B6 on here - I've bought 100mg capsules of B6 with is one of the key ingredients in H Factor and am taking that with the agnus castus - cycle acting differently so I'm hoping that my progesterone is increasing / hormones normalising...!0 -

I think alot depends on the type of pill. Also we are all different and our bodies cope with things differently so I guess there is no fool proof answer.
My experience is, I was on the pill for more than 15 years when we decided to try for a baby. I was warned as I had been on it for so long it could take up to 18 months for it to come out of my system.....I got pregnant in my second month of being off it.
Second pg took roughly 2 years to happen after the loss of the first. 3rd pg is still to happen.
My advice would be if you are under 30 try not to worry to much. If you are over 30 I'd go see the GP as you have been trying for more than 12 months.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
got fed up of waiting so poas saturday and got a BFN....still not AF though!
think i'll test again at the weekend (just in case) but i'm starting to think that i might not have OV yet. I haven't noticed any EWCM, but not been particularly looking - will it be very obvious e.g. when you wipe or do you have to manually check? sorry for TMI - even i'm cringing when typing!0 -

Ladies, AF arrived as expected. Guess, it's a waiting game till the next fertile period for me now.0 -
For me, my mucus tends to "fall off" just before I wee. So, I have to try & "catch" it each time I go pee :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Its so funny I never take notice of such things until now ie TTC. I wipe it, then rub/pull apart CF with fingers to check it. I only manually check when I can't feel the overall vaginal sensation to be moist/wet during transition/fertile period. How late is your AF? If it's overdue, I would test again. If not, I'll wait. Fingers crossed it's a BFP for you stargirl!

I'm not sure if it's late or not as it's the first AF since coming off the pill, its been 34 days since my fake AF...it said to wait 3 days before doing another test so if no AF by the end of the week i'll test again.
Thanks for the above - think i will try to keep an eye on such things in the future0 -
It took my cycle 8 months to stabalise after coming off the pill after 8 yrs.

How often to you POAS?
I am on CD 38 after having come off the pill in December and had 3 AFs (between 28-31 days apart). Still BFN (having done about 4 tests just this month!). Any suggestions? Thing is that I have lost a lot of weight in the last 12-15 months and I have increased my exercise quite a bit lately which I believe could have an effect on my AF. Any ideas or advice?
I got pregnant within 6 weeks of coming off the pill (post Depo Provera of 5 years) last time!0 -
How often to you POAS?
I try to wait until I am at least 3-4 days late. If my first test is neg I might do 1 more after a couple more days and thats it. At the moment I am using up my £1 tests then I'm going to get them from accessdignostics as then because they are so cheap I don't mind if I have to use 1 or 2 in a month I am late.
I have been to my docs before after not getting AF but getting BFN. He said not to worry, if for any reason you haven't ovulated that month its unlikely you will get AF. Or you might not get AF for any number of reasons but not to worry about it.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
