I'm just using the temp thing as an added extra really, but the fertility friends graphs I've seen they all had a significant dip right before ov, but everyone's different and I can't but think the weather must make a difference too to some degree or if you wake up wrapped in the duvet or if it's on the floor. or even waking up different times.

2 day af if not normal might be a good sign!

Hi all. Just to let you know, I asked the doc if I could take evening primrose oil to help with my pmt and his recommendation was not while ttc - so get that checked if you're still planning on taking it...
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

Hi everyone, and here's hoping for some BFPs this month... it certainly sounds like there could be some!

With regards to vitamins, my practise nurse is adamant that there is no scientific proof that they make any difference (other than folic acid for us girlies). Even so DH takes 15mg zinc and 500mg Vit C. I know the Vic C is meant to prevent his swimmers from clumping and I think the zinc has something to do with their energy, though don't quote me on that! I used to give him Vit E too, along with anything else I read might help, but he's since refused to take most of them (I suspect he was binning them on the quiet  ).

The folic acid theory is interesting... I think I'll slip him a tablet with his usual ones at breakfast time. I think I'm going to put him on the Sanatogen 'His' tablets for conception (which contain folic acid) when this current lot run out.

I've been trying so hard to not symptom spot this month, other than a blip at the very beginning of the month (which was totally irrational really). AF's due tomorrow, and although I feel like it's definitely coming I've not seen the usual spotting and am bizarrely cheery considering I'm on tenterhooks over what the next day or so will bring. I'll be holding out until the weekend though before testing, just to be sure. It's my way of not obsessing, I like to think.

If AF arrives I think I'll try Supergirl's theory and stock up on anything and everything that looks/sounds like it might help :o

lovinit, sorry to hear that xxx good luck though for a sticky bean soon (((hugs))

Now confused about the evening primrose oil. If I'm honest I htink alot of the vitimins and suppliments arent needed and would have very little effect. The only suppliment I've ever felt a difference with has been glucosamine sulphate while lifting weights, I always had my doubts about muti vits etc.

Nikki, ooh we are due on the same day then! Well we are if I'm for a 27 day cycle, it varies between 27 and 28. I'm also cheerful too but I did have a big bar of chocolate today which is a sign! Actually I don't know who I'm trying to kid with that one as I crave that every single day lol.

Good luck and let's hope we're lucky, and if not concerted effort next month! xx

Hey Nikkinoo and supergirl, me too - also due AF today/tomorrow.

Managed to screw up my temperatures this month by stressing my self out and the high temps didn't correspond to CM so not entirely sure which day I ov'ed. It is possible I am already a couple of days late (on CD30 and normally 28-30 days). Temps have taken a nose dive (although still above coverline) and BFN on Sunday (CD28).

Then found this site yesterday with hundreds (literally) of charts to browse through. Spirits raised as I learned of "implantation dip" and saw many "success charts" with low temps before BFP.

    http://www.ovusoft.com/ourtcoyf/gallery/

Conclusion: don't read too much into post ov temps. (except 3 high means you can be fairly certain ov occured day before rise).

Can't concentrate on anything else at the mo - its driving me crazy.

I like you usually have spotting and/or dirty stuff for at least 3-4 days before proper AF. Occasionally my body plays tricks on me and I don't get the spotting at all, just come on suddenly to full blown AF. Its very frustrating. At the moment my cycles seem to change with every month.

    Hi Supergirl,

New to the board - is this your first month at trying or are you an expert at it now? ;-p

My cramps were quite bad yesterday, so that was 3 days of it now. It is a strange feeling. I know it isn't ovulation pain as I have experienced that seberal times over in the past seven months of being off the pill monitoring my cycling before time for baby making.

My fingers are crossed for you!
