I'd got visions of a bottle and a funnel, and legs waving in the air!:rotfl:

Are you going to wait and see if you're pg before you start taking the Covonia? The website advises talking to your doctor before taking it if you're pg. Was trying to find out what's in it to see what the 'magic' ingredient, and I noticed it said that.

5 ovulation strips in Boots was £12.99 - not paying that! So went to Wilkinsons and paid £3.99 (or was it £2.99?) - when the line is darker than the test one that's the sign.

If in future you want to buy more ov strips this site works out cheaper for buying more than a month at a time.

I've bought pg strips from them recently and can't fault the speedy FREE delivery.

Anni if I thought that would work I'd be prepared to even buy a funnel LOL!! (I'm not proud ;))
Yes, going to wait to see what happens next few days and if I come on I'll only take it for a week probably, same as the evenign primrose oil, I'm hoping I've jumped the gun buying everything but i want to be prepared for next month if needs be.

..And if needs be I've got my plan all mapped out! It'll be bd every other day starting cd6 then every day for a few days when I get an ovulation marker on the tests, so everyday either side of ovulation then back to every other day for a while, then I think a rest! I think that will be a really good effort all in all.

And if that doesn't work, then the month after will elave it up to the gods becasue I can see this can take over your life and I believe if it's meant to happen it will, if it's not it wont.

    have you got a plan?

EDIT: GOT BFP!! ADDED NEW SYMPTOMS IN - EDITED AGAIN WITH BLEEDING INFO

Just incase I do get a bfp these were my symptoms!
I havnt been keeping them as and when so some might be a mixed up and were guessed.
It HAS been an unusual month for me, I know that much.

I think it's probably helpful to keep a record, so when you get something again you will know if it's normal, cos you do forget!
    CYCLE ONE

    1st
    -
    2nd -
    3rd - cd1,
    4th - cd2,
    5th - cd3,
    6th - cd4,
    7th - cd5,
    8th - cd6,
    9th - cd7,
    10th - cd8,
    11th - cd9,
    12th - cd10
    13th - cd 11,(ov?), af cramps, constipated
    14th - cd 12, af cramps, constipated
    15th - cd 13, af cramps, constipated,
    16th - cd 14, af cramps, constipated,
    17th - cd 15, af cramps, constipated,
    18th - cd 16, af cramps, constipated,
    19th - cd 17, af cramps, constipated
20th - cd 18, af cramps, pain like needles sticking in bbs, tired
21st - cd 19, af cramps, face broke out in spots, tired
22nd - cd 20, faint bfp (probably an evap line), af cramps, feeling very cramped with af signs, tired
23rd - cd 21, 2 bfns at 10mlu, af cramps subsiding pm, very bloated, tired
24th - cd 22, bfn, very slight af cramps, very bloated
25th - cd 23, bfn, feeling lots better today no cramping got some energy, pmt late on? argumentative
26th - cd 24, bfn (not going to test till 31st!), slight af cramps, a feeling like I will come on
27th - cd 25, period pain, warm spots where pain is, sure period is coming, feeling very hot to the touch
28th - cd 26, period pain, warm spots where pain is, bad tugging under ribs (indigestion?), tired, sure period is coming so have ordered some pre-seed for next month, feel sick but not, slight twinges above belly button, feeling hot, frequent loo trips for a pee, no cm - would usually have thick white cm at this point, late night test looks like an evap
29th - cd 27, period pains gone, slight white cm, not feeling too bad - night time laying on sofa felt like I was being stetched in lower stomach and had jabbing feelings above pubic bone on left, skin there and bbs was hot to the touch, felt burning inside belly
30th- cd 28, Af due (27 day cycle) 4 BFPs - Still got niggling slight pulling on left, lots of watery cm which not normal for me, kind of feels like af coming but different, very similar but not as strong, kind of hard to explain really, it's more a centered feeling than an allover one - started passing brown cm that turned red that night like a period, 10mlu's still showing positive
31st - cd 29, Af due (28 day cycle) Bleeding like a period, same sort of amount but lighter blood, more watery but no cramping, sensation is like peeing - tested again that afternoon and strongest bfp positive yet!
1st August - no bleed over night, dark browny cloggy loss on morning, pain in left ovary almost went, convinced had a m/c-- but then ---> evening: veins on bbs develop out of the blue, sensations under skin in bbs, twitching sensations above belly buton to the left, temp steady at 37.1, usual night time sickness kicks in. Bleeding is lessoning.
2nd August - no bleed overnight again, till got up/ few small clots but moderate af all day- tested POSITVE again, temp as high as 37.9 after light cleaning work, felt well on night time to clean bathroom, bleeding lessoning throughout day/not spotting though, no cramps - still less than a normal af but looks like a real one, researched to find it's quite common to have a period in 1st trimester! (great news that I am clinging onto!) keep getting random pinching near belly button - still very worried though.

Will find out next week what the score is, but if I am to go by my intuition right now I would say all is going to be well. the doctor wasnt concerned about the bleeding, more the pain I've been having. I would say i still feel pregnant, still having strong symptoms after what could be mistaken for a period!

    hahaha!

I don't really have a 'plan', but I will try and remember to do my BBT, keep taking my vitamins and folic acid, and try to bd every two to three days.

This will be our 8th cycle of trying, and I'm starting to feel very disheartened. With the shifts that my DH and I work, we don't get to bd as often as we'd like, and I never really feel like it in the week before af, so we only really get a week or so in the middle of my cycle. I'm thinking of going to see the doc as I seem to be having short cycles, and I want to make sure everything is ok. I'm trying not to obsess about it, but I'm starting to worry that there's something wrong, esp as I think I might have had one, maybe two very early mc's (cycles 2 and 4).

You seem to have your next month well planned out - good luck!

Just seen your 'diary' post - I will definitely try this!

Notslass, Re zinc, I'm giving mine holland and barret zinc and copper, just whatever the doze on the bottle states I would tell him to take. xx

The dosage on mine says one a day (15mg) but I think that I read somewhere that 30-50 mg per day were needed to get the little swimmers (or not in our case !) up and running . Got another appointment with the fertility clinic next week so i'll wait and see what they say:confused:

I can also vouch for access diagnostics. I bought some ov strips and pg strips last month and they were here 2 days later. Speedy service and good value for money.

I bought a digital thermometer (£2.99 in Savers, but £8.99 in boots!), when your temp takes a dive down it means you're due to ovulate in the next few days so go at it like bunnies!

I always read that you can't use BBT to predict the ovulation, as you only get temperature peak after the ovulation occured. I don't have a drop before ovulation - temperature stays about the same until ovulation and then jumps...

The pain in my lower abdomen is getting annoying... AF stopped (just 2 days???? it keeps getting shorter and shorter). It is sort of numbness and I feel very bloated...

  • Thanks for all your advice on the rubella thing. I managed to get an appointment at my GP this evening. She is sending me for a blood test tomorrow. I thought she would think it was something and nothing but she took it really seriously and said I had to have the blood test quickly to determine whether I had been exposed to it.

She told me if I do have it and am pregnant that I should consider a termination. I know the odds are very low but I am really upset. I spoke to my sister again, she doesn't think my nephew has rubella but it is some sort of allergic thing. She has made an appointment to take hime back to the doctors later this week. It is awful all this not knowing.
