  • LeopardLady - hornier when TTC, definitely, since becoming pg :o not really :o

But the short answer is that if there is a chance that you are pg then you should at least wait until your next AF before immunisation.

Best to speak to your doc about it.

:hello: still lurking TTC'ers - sending you all positive vibes and hoping that soon your boobs are as sore as mine :rotfl:

My fathers daughter it's really weird that you should say that, as I was just logging on to say I'm symptom spotting (AF due on sunday / monday) and my boobs are really sore!

Sorry if it has already been posted

Did anyone else go for this when it was posted last month? I thought I'd not been accepted because I kind of expected a call back within days.
Well I just got my call back and after quite a few questions I have been accepted for the trial!! How exciting! :T
I am just waiting on consent forms and welcome/info pack and I can get started.
I was going to buy one of those microscopes that you lick/spit on to tell me when I'm oving but won't bother now.

Hi,does anybody know the dosage for zinc ?
OH has a low sperm quantity/count and I know that zinc is supposed to help, but I don't want to over dose him !

Also his testosterone levels are only just with in the "normal range" and I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a link between this and male factor secondary infertility ?

    Thanks

Does Ov occure 14days after the start of AF? Helen x

Hi Helen - Ov occuring on day 14 is a myth. It is probably about average but can vary wildly from one person to next and from one cycle to next. But you do count from first proper day of AF. If you have approx. 30 day cycle and you don't know when you ov I would assume it could be anywhere from day 9 to 10 days before AF. Good Luck!

Hi all, just a small visit from me with tons of tips I've picked up! Hope you're all doing well xx

During your cycle to ovulation take evening primsrose oil. This is to make your cm more wet for the spermies to travel in. But don't take it after ovulation as it can cause cramps.

Avoid peas! There's somehting in them that can act as a contraceptive in some people apparantly.

Pre-seed is this lube that helps the swimmers, I ordered some online for £9.99 for a 6 pack. I know it's exepensive but sometimes money doesn't have to come into it.

I bought a digital thermometer (£2.99 in Savers, but £8.99 in boots!), when your temp takes a dive down it means you're due to ovulate in the next few days so go at it like bunnies!

5 ovulation strips in Boots was £12.99 - not paying that! So went to Wilkinsons and paid £3.99 (or was it £2.99?) - when the line is darker than the test one that's the sign.

Also bought an expectorant cough mixture, paid 99p for Covonia in Savers, as this is supposed to help too with good cm.

Give your man zinc AND folic acid, it supposidly increases sperm by 400%.

And I think that's about it lol!
You probably knew all this stuff already but just incase you didn't...

I'm due on tomorrow or the next day. I would love to say I'm hopeful, I just don't know.

    xx

Ermm.... what do you do with the cough mixture? I wouldn't have thought it was advisable to take it if you don't need it for a cough. Or do you do something else with it?

Icklebeans snap! I havent been in so much pain with cramping mid cycle as I have this month and I'll be honest, I thought there was a chance his spermies were irritating my insides!! it lasted bloomin' ages too, days and days - worse than period pains, cramps even under my ribs from it.
I don't want to get your hopes up (or mine) but I read another woman who had the same and she got her BFP! On the other hand though have read plenty who had it too and didn't, so.... who knows (?) But it was funny as this was the first month of tryng so the first month they got access if you get my drift and the first month of mid cycle pain! Just got to wait it out, but I don't want to go through next month the same or it'll put me right off the whole thing!
I have had one faint pink line and one possibly faint line already, but I've seen examples of false positives all over the net, so i'm not believing them at all.
It's a hard business (if you'll pardon the pun) this baby business, nothing is staight forward!

Notslass, Re zinc, I'm giving mine holland and barret zinc and copper, just whatever the doze on the bottle states I would tell him to take. xx
