You mentioned you are now a BUPA member and might use them if you want a second opinion. Just be aware that its unusual for them (BUPA) to cover anything to do with fertility.
I have seen a fertility specialist twice which was paid for by BUPA but they have since told me that they won't cover us to see him anymore as whoever told me I was covered to see him in the first place, was wrong.
Just wanted to make you aware of that :o Please don't count on it.

Our brochure mentions that the consultations to determine the problems may be covered, but not the treatment or IVF.
Anyway, I did test this morning and it was negative (obviously - I just couldn't hold any longer). My temperature went a bit down this morning and I got some spotting. AF isn't due till Monday, so I think it just decided to show up earlier this month.
As I have just started new job it might be more reasonable to work for 6 months or so (they mentioned a promotion within a year...) and fall pregnant then, so that I might just get that promotion and prove myself in new place... On the other hand - it comes when it comes and we will be happy.

Hey girls, said I would be stalking you still, Ginvzt don't give up hope, your Af isn't due til Monday you say, so you never know you could still have that BFP in the week. Think positive thoughts :) xx
OH and I have been talking about the future, and we still want to TTC, you may have read my post in the week where I have to see my own GP to get things cleared by my GP before we try. I have been naughty and been getting jiggy before getting things cleared by my neurologist. Slap my wrist all :( Anyway, first step made- I have my appt 4 Wed to see GP, to get myself checed out and will come off my meds under supervision. I know that I will need several admissions to hospital coming up in order to try TTC, as I have too much pressure around my brain, so I will be needing regular lumbar punctures during pregnancy instead of my medication doing the work for me. I stupidly have been trying to take myself off of meds myself and have been starting to feel poo in the meantime. So learn by my mistake girls. Don't try and do it yourself, go to the GP if you already have a medical or a surgical problem before TTC. Go and get yourself checked out! And I should have known better, I am a nurse!!!!! No comment! LOL!!!! xx

Well, I couldn't hold out much longer and took a test and got another BFN :(

oh well, I'm thinking I might just try and forget about it for now until after I'm married, too much else to do at the moment with planning that and moving to our new house next week, we won't be able to afford it atm

Well, AF was due yesterday... that is based on the assumption of my cycle being 'regular'. I had a bit of a show mid-week, but only what I could call a show - it certainly didn't materialise into a full blown AF. Since then I've had nothing. I just feel a bit bloated. Was really tired yesterday and ended up sleeping for 2 hours solid in the day. I'm not getting hopes up as I'm not convinced this is the real deal... I can't say I have any real symptoms.

I just think that this is now just my cycle showing it's true self and is not going to be as regular as I thought...???

If nothing changes by Friday, I might do a test then... but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm half way through the two week wait and failed on my quest not to drink today. It was a lovely day, and didn't see the harm in one glass of cider. However people kept buying my drinks and I ended with 4. I feel guilty. I know I really didn't need it / want it. But I did. A little more will power is needed I think.

    Babydust to all. xx

Thanks! I hope all goes well for you. Well, my BFT went even lower and I think AF arrived properly. I have a pounding headache (probably also because of the heat).
We are not giving up hope, but we are not feeling desperate yet. It will come when the time is right. We are looking to buy a house (well, we had to relocate!!!) and I am insisting on a 4-bed with plenty of space.... So that the little one (or ones) would have plenty of space to play!
(I am scared of having twins - these run in family, my grandma had fraternal twins (one of which was my mum) and her mum had twins as well... Oh, and my OH's dad is one of the twins, although that doesn't mean anything I am told)

We are kind of expecting twins, not expecting them as in having them (obviously) but both our families have twins several times, plus the doctor said on the clomid it may release 2 eggs and result in twins which we are fine about seeing as we were kind of expecting them anyway in the back of our minds.

AF arrived Saturday daytime so yesterday was CD1 and I can take the first of my Clomid pills for this cycle today. Will carry on the BBT so hopefully can tell if I ovulated as a result of the pills, fingers crossed. We are getting married in October too, so this would be perfect present!

I think I am being ridiculous but...
This is going to be the first month of trying after being off the pill for 7 months. Not due to ovulate until tomorrow/Weds. Hubby and I did the deed on Sat night, just to be together and not to baby make. Woke in morning to go to the loo and loads of his population paste came out. We have always used condoms to this was a not quite pleasant novelty!
Anyhow, on Sunday, the day after doing the deed, I have felt niggling aches all day in my nether regions. Today has been the same. Plus feel slightly nauseous.Early signs of pregancy state these sysmptoms - but surely not so soon??? Half a day after possible conception???

I do realise that you can get pregnant not just around the time of ovulation but am I being realistic? Could I “know” so soon? Could I really be having symptoms so soon? Maybe I am just being ridiculous (or wishful thinking) or the aches are an allergic reaction from husband’s sperm!
Did anyone out there have symptoms this quickly?

    Hi Ladies :hello:

Not been on this thread for a while so firstly Congratulations to everyone with a BFP! :j :j :T :T

I have been trying to focus on other things apart from ttc, but i'm currently in the middle of the 2ww and have a couple of odd symptoms that i wanted to ask you girls about...

firstly over the weekend i had a feeling on and off (mostly when sat down) like i had a tampon in but it had moved a bit down so i could feel it IYSWIM, and secondly today i have had a feeling of pressure (pushing inside out) in my lower abdoman (sp?).

Has anyone else had these symptoms? i have a good feeling about this month but really don't want to get my hopes up too much.

i have also been going to toilet a lot more frequently today and been feeling dizzy on and off the last few days but i'm going to put that down to the warm weather and drinking lots of water (for now!) ;)
