hi all,
i haven't posted on the thread for a few weeks, as AF hadn't arrived and i was waiting to see what happened.
Not the saturday just gone, but the one before, we got our first BFP. I took another on the monday morning and it too was a BFP!!!
hubby and i are both still a little shocked as it has happened a lot quicker than we expected. we are of course pleased and feel very lucky as we know there are other people that have been trying for soooo much longer than us.
i have seen my doc and now have an appointment with my midwife in a few weeks. have been given a maternity pack with so much information in it that i cried.
no doubt it will all sink in soon.
have just lost a lot of typing work i have just done, so once i have redone that, i will catch up with what has been happening on the thread recently.

Excellent news Angelfairy! Well done! Last time we had a BFP there were a few in a row, so here's hoping....
By the way - WE'VE GOT A NEW PUPPY!!! Not quite as exciting as a BFP, but it's a pretty good feeling anyway....Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Thank you all for your well wishes and congratulations.
It still doesn't seem real to be honest.
Just read on the information sheet though for some tablets I take for IBS that I shouldn't be taking them if preg or planning to become preg. Pharmasist confirmed this at lunchtime. Eek. Not taking them now as awaiting a telephone appt with doc tomorrow to see what he says. The lady at the surgery says their is nothing in the literature confirning this, but will play it safe and not take them until i have spoken to doc.0 -
congrats AngelFairy
Sarah Joanne - you'll get there eventually x
After 6 months TTC then being made redundant and having to go back on the pill I have now got a new job :j . So my plan is to stay on the pill for 4 months then come off in time for my job probation to be over in 6 months. Sound reasonable?0 -
