Hello all,
This is my first post on TTC!
I have read this post for months in preparations.
I am currently on AF but once she has left we will be TTC for the first time.
I am 29, hubby is almost 37, together for 6 years, married for one and the time is absolutley right!
Came off the pill in January. I have diaried my cycles and they are anything between 25 and 29 days but they were like this before I went on the pill 10 years ago so this seems normal for me. I have also been trying to guage by CM and this does seem to be around day 14 of my cycle. So all is pointing in the right direction.
Fingers crossed for me and all there :-)0 -

Engagement ring shopping is great
although they didn't have my size in when I went so it took about 3 weeks before I could wear one
anyway, been feeling like AF is coming for the past week and she hasn't. Had cramps and feel bloated soI dunno what's happening. Been busy planning my wedding and getting ready to move house though, so it's been taking my mind of it. I've stopped taking the metformin now as I've been takking t for 7 months, so Dr is sending me for a scan, so I'll save money on a pregnancy test and find out for sure when I have the scan :rotfl:
Pigsback - 500 points, Happyfly - £37.92, Juicy Brains - £1.25, Valued Opinions - Zilch, Casback Rewards - £2.78

Hi everyone hope youre all doing well.
I'm now on CD 17 and in the 2ww (I am learning all the technical terms!)
I don't want to get my hopes up but I have been reading about symptom spotting and I think I must have 99% of them haha, but I also think most are in my head!
Just to run you through them - 3 day pain like AF (think that was OV although never had it before, and reckon I ov on cd10!) - constipation, like really bad! (but think this was diet related) - sore nipple and both were darker as confirmed by my hubby (but for all I know I get this everyomonth and havn't noticed!) feeling sicky (but could be due to the constipation!) - just a feeling like we did succeed (but doesn't evryone get that?) I havn't been feeling very well and slept for longer than I have in a long time last night.
So it's quite frustrating all in all this 2 week wait!£200 saved for baby things :T0 -

Periods are pretty regular now but was a couple of days late so did a test but was a BFN. AF arrived today. My question is, we are going on holiday in 7 weeks time and can't face having AF while I have to wear a bikini. If I start taking the pill now will it stop them for when I'm away? The pill I have is the one that you take every day without a break. How long will it take to become regular again after we come back from hols. We are going to seriously TTC after holiday not like before when it was a case of if it happens, it happens.
An update on this post. I decided to just let nature take its course and if I had AF on holiday then so be it. AF arrived today and we go on holiday in 2 weeks for 2 weeks so hopefully the next time it's due it'll either be late or I'll be expecting. Have checked online for my most fertile days and it is the end of July beginning of August. This isn't a good time for me  as I am growing my leg hair to get it waxed on the 2nd August. No way is he allowed to come near me when I'm like this.:D It would be perfect if I did fall preganant next month though at it'll be our 10 year anniversary. :T:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0 -
Well I have some news, not the kind I wanted to be giving but hey ho. We have decided to wait until after the wedding now. We were going to TTC for about 6 months and see what happened, then if nothing we woul dwait until after as I didn't want to be a pregnant bride. However H2B said this weekend that he wants to just wait til after. Which is fine as his reasons are all valid - like so we can concentrate on one thing at a time and really enjoy it all, and that all our money at the moment is going on the wedding, and if we had a baby before then we'd find it harder to pay for the wedding especially as I want to take the max possible maternity leave.
But it's just a bit annoying as this was out original plan, wiat til after the wedding, but the he was the one who suggested starting now! So I've been thinking about it non stop for the last 2 months and getting myself quite excted for him to now say he wasnts to wait.
It's not the end of the world and he does havea point, but I am a bit disppointed now.
Anyway hope everyone else is doing well, baby dust to all
Sarah xx0
