    !!! congratulations mel !!!

I was saying yesterday I knew AF was going to arrive either last night or today (as due) but no sign as yet. I know she appeared around lunchtime last month so I will see how the day pans out.

The only thing is this morning i woke up feeling really hungry and then quite
nauseous, which i still feel now. Think AF is just playing hard ball with me this month. I know she will arrive today

Well still no AF yet and it's been about 6 weeks since the last one. Did a test last week and it was -IVE. Haven't done another one yet. Waiting for them to arrive in the post (bought cheappie ones). Fingers crossed. Not feeling too +ive though. AF has been regular since coming off the pill in January but I have PCOS and think they may just have decided to become irregular again.

Congrats to everyone who has been lucky lately. Hopefully some of it will rub off on the rest of us.

:T :T :T :T A big congrats to Chickpea, Mel and MFD , wishing yous all the best in the months to come, hoping to meet you both in the pregnancy club very soon.

Going to see the specialist at the end of the month and my hubby has to give a sample of his swimmers the week previous. Does anyone know what they will do to me? I know it sounds silly but i am not sure what to expect. I know I will probably get told off for being overweight:o but I have joined curves:eek: and started to go swimming 3x a week.

This must be baby boom month, good luck to everyone.

Still a couple of late AF visits on here - there may be more pregnancies to come this cycle yet - what did I tell you all!! Statistically at least 3 of us would fall this cycle ;):D

Keeping my fingers crossed for BFP for all of you.

I'm feeling a but deflated today, even tho not due till Tuesday got a BFN early yesterday and today........ I am disapointed, I know I shouldn't as I didn't expect a BFP first time. Even so it doesn't stop me thinking about it all the time. We'll see what happens but I know I can talk on her without anyone judging.

Don't worry SparklyGirl, I and I'm sure many others know exactly how you feel. You just have to take the good days with the bad, and remember that much wanted BFP will come in time and it will be the BEST day ever!! x

When we saw a NHS fertility specialist he weighed me and done my height. They ask about what you have been doing to get pg....e.g how many times a month do you have sex ~ what times of the month do you do it ~ what is your cycle like......all those kinds of things.
Then at the end he told us to go away and not come back until I had lost weight, but we expected that :o
Pretty much the same when we saw a BUPA fertility doc except he also done a smear test and a chlamydia test. (chlamydia can cause infertility)

He/She might suggest some tests for you. I had my 21 bloods done to confirm ov. I also had a dye test done where they inject dye into your womb through your cervix whilst you have an x-ray taken, this checks for any blockages in your tubes. If you have to have this done PM me and I'll give you some advice......I wish I had had some my first time of having this test done but I was better prepared the second time.

When your hubby does his sample I would recommend he does it at the hospital that he has to take it to, not do it at home then drive anywhere with it because it HAS to be kept at body temp. Then when he hands it over tell him to stress it has to be done immediately.
My hubbys first test came out bad because when he handed it over they took 15 mins to test it so he had to go and do another one.

we can all appreciate where you are coming from and what you are feeling. This is a great forum to air such things as we are all in the same boat, aiming for the same thing.

i find it is sometimes very helpful just to post what is on my mind so i have gotten it out of my system without having to tell hubby or friend.
