Ooh and letter is written and handed in. Shall update you when I hear back from them. And i've made a new appointment with the dr that specialises in ladies help, I've got that in a week or so.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

A chemical pregnancy is when you do technically concieve and may have positive tests, but you miscarry so quickly that it may appear to be a late, heavy period. Hope that helps.

Huge congrats Roxie! Here's hoping you start a run of good luck for us all...

I see... I understand thanks, good luck with the new doc x

I had reflexology sessions a couple of times because I heard that it has helped a few people get pregnant, I don't know how, but I really think it could work. I have PCOS so my periods used to be all over the place (taking medication to sort insulin levels out and regulate my periods at the mo) anyway, I had my first reflexology session and I hadn't had a period for 10 months or so before, the day after my first session I came on, and again after the next session. It can be pricey depending on where you go, I have a friend who does it so she knocks a bit off the price for me, but you could always get a book about it and get your OH to practice on you. Even if it doesn't work, at least you get a few free relaxing massages from your OH :)

Hi everyone! I have not read all the other pages but i just thought i would mention a book that i have read that is really informative about getting pregnant and female reproductive health. It is called Taking charge of your fertility by toni weschler. It is a mine of information, I learnt so much about my body, things like i used to think that if my period was late it was because i was stressing and that was what was making me late, this is not the case it was just that cycle i had ovulated later and so got my period later. I now know that not everybody ovulates on day 14! I hope this helps you all. Take care.

Thanks all - I really do hope I start a run of luck!

FWIW I think reflexology's a great idea. I'm a believer in alternative meds since a herbalist cured me of a couple of ailments (not one of those you find in a shopping centre I hasten to add!). Good luck all!

Yeh, I'm going to have to start booking myself in for frequent reflexology sessions, it definately helped me last time, I just couldn't afford it at the time. I would recommend people to try it, it's worth a shot at least :)

Roxie I'm delighted for you! Only another week or so till I come of the pill and then it's condoms for a wee while for us - probably a month or two... and then we'll start TTC :)
It's all a little scary really...

Well we're married and all is good in the land of Mr & Mrs Tine :)
In a week or so I take my last pill and then in a month or two we'll start trying to concieve... but.... Frankly I'm a little scared!!
Yes we still have debt (which with any luck should be gone by the time little'un arrives bar the mortgage) but it's not bad debt :) I qualify for a really good maternity package from work (so long as I don't get made redundant as the company is up for sale  ) so we should be ok come that time too...
OH does earn enough to make sure we're comfy once the debts are paid off and just got a 10% payrise which is ace!
But... a little one potentially joining our lives and having to be responcible for a little person... Whilst I'm really excited we're at a point where I think we can financially responcibly bring a little one into the world and my broody genes have kicked in - I'm still scared that we won't do a good job! I feel so torn between wanting a baby and being scared about it! I guess part of it is that I don't have any parents nearby to help with looking after any little ones so the majority of my support network that I always thought I'd have come the time when I had kids... well I don't have it and I'm scared of messing up because I get it wrong!
Then I see other parents of young children who frankly I think are too young and I don't agree with how they do things and I think I'd do a much better job but what if I don't! Ok what if WE don't :)

I know I'll be delighted when I get pregnant and I'm gonna enjoy every (non-vomiting) moment of it but right now... I'm scared out of my wits!!

    Anyone else? :)
