Yes .... and no.
OMG I'd just want to die.
Probably the only way to beat this is to take strict notes and find out who to grass them all up to. Speak to the police to find out what they'd need to shut it down. Keep nuisance notes etc.
Of course, being on the spectrum, you don't want to speak to anybody - and you'll probably get misunderstood when you try to speak to the police.... if you ever get that far. So, just in case you do, write down a letter to read out when you get there so you don't forget what your point is, what you're after.0 -

I had a friend who used to live in a flat close to the red light area in Liverpool, she absolutely loved it. She said it was the friendliest and safest place she had ever lived. She got to know most of the working girls and she said everyone really looked out for each other. She did get propositioned in the street quite often but the girls quickly sorted it out!
Each to their own - personally I would hate it.0 -
I'd be more worried about the neighbours in your house (assuming you use a room and share the communal kitchen etc?). Being druggies/alcoholics they might also be light fingered if you take my meaning.0

I'm all for stamping out crime, exploitation etc...
... but I'd be very, very careful about doing this kind of stuff.
This type of 'business' is usually run by criminal gangs. If they suspect you are trying to close down their business, they might get a bit upset with you.
I'm not sure that even the offer of tea and cake would calm things down in that situation.0 -
If the brothel(s) are doing you no harm, what is the problem? I would be more concerned with the people in your immediate building than what others are doing elsewhere.
I certainly wouldn't be going to the police. They'll already be aware of the brothels and quite possibly visit them in an advisory capacity. It's far safer to have sex workers in set premises than selling themselves on the street, and for that reason these "businesses" are often overlooked.0 -
I grew up in a vice area. You just have to learn not to make eye contact with anyone and they generally leave you alone. Forty years on I still get accused of ignoring people because I am really good at not registering people around me.Sell £1500

I lived in a notorious red light area as a student. Admittedly a long time ago now, but it was the quietest, most peaceful place I stayed in my time there. During the day it was completely dead and at night it was very quiet and discreet. Any problems would be sorted out "locally" to avoid police interference.
There was a separate area a few streets away where drugs were prevalent and that was like a war zone. The two areas never crossed, the police would come down hard on the drugs area but leave where I was pretty much alone.
SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -
Contact Police & local councillors.
You need to get something like this sorted...

- think it's a "closure order" (?).

The girls are probably being exploited & could do with any help.0
