For those posting on smartphones or tablets the code for magenta is

2018 Thread Graduates:0 -
Afoolandhermoney – woops sorry, I have changed you now . We must never loose hope! I am hoping you are our first graduate of the year though!
Slothsocks – I hope AF comes very soon for you (not often we are hoping for AF for each other!). As you say, at least you know the plans are in place to make positive steps.
Bertie_Yellow – welcome to the thread! How exciting that you and your partner are making plans for a baby. Have you had any tests to check you are ovulating regularly? I know you said ‘as far as you know’ but a lot of my friends only found out they had issues when they were trying to conceive. If you haven’t already it may be best to use ovulation predictor kits to check you are ovulating each month? This could help you decide which option is best, especially if you wanted to try IUI unstimulated first.
Toots14 – it could be implantation spotting? Fingers crossed for Tuesday.
It is 6 days till Ovia says I should do a test, 7 days until AF is estimated to be due on Ovia. I will be testing Wednesday. Similarly to afoolandhermoney I have had some Af symptoms the last couple of days – tender boobs. I have noticed that I have started getting this since coming off the pill so I think this is a sign that AF is on the way.
Strangely I had such a vivid dream last night that I did a test and it was positive! So much so I felt the need to test this morning. I know it is too early to test but they are cheapy home bargain tests so it’s hardly a costly POAS. Unsurprisingly it was BFN. I think abit of me just wanted to silence the dream from trying to get my hopes up more!0 -
PrettyKittyKat - thank you for your reply
I'm yet to take any ovulation tests but I will start doing this. I do however have periods so regular you could set your clock by them! The doctor said he will do scans to check my tubes are open and all is good, he did blood tests yesterday. Maybe if all tests come back fine we will try a couple of IUI cycles...but then do we go for stimulated or un-stimulated? Hopefully I can meet some people on here who have been through similar experiences  We're hoping to have our first treatment in June so we've got some time to think about our options.
Our next step is going for a counselling session next week. We have to do this as we're going to be using donor sperm.
Best wishes to everyone x0 -

Bertie - welcome, sounds like a good plan to track your ovulation and that your Dr is running some tests to make sure all is well. Can't offer any advise I'm afraid, but I understand why you'd want to keep it as natural as you can (whilst also wanting to maximize your chances) - is "natural" IVF an option for you?MFiT challenge #60

I had a dream I was pregnant with triplets a few weeks ago - relieved that one wasn't true there is no way we could afford that! One of us would have to give up work the childcare would be so expensive.
I tried having vitamin d supplements after people on here mentioned it but I started getting headaches so stopped it again for a bit now.
No news still no positive opk. I think I should be in the 'If in doubt ' section though please (Sorry didnt realise I needed to say I thought once AF ended we moved over)Trying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0 -
It seems we're all very much waiting on here. Suppose a large part of TTC is just waiting to ovulate and then waiting to test...it really does change your outlook every month!
Welcome BertieGood luck to you both. My best friend and her wife went through a similar process in 2016 (IVF I believe is what they did in the end) and now have gorgeous twin girls who I am insanely jealous over heh!

Hi everyone,
zeni - you are so right
All of this week has dragged waiting for my OPKs to start looking positive, they are getting darker but still negative by all accounts. Honestly the longest week everand then even once Ov hits there’ll be another 2 weeks of waiting. I’ve never known time to go so slow.
When is everyone looking to test? X0 -
It is a lot of waiting. And peeing on things
Never in my life have I been so aware of bodily fluids. :rotfl:
I got a positive opk yesterday and without realising we’ve appeared to have done SMEP (just tomorrow to go).
Have a lovely weekend ladies x0 -
Feel the same as you katiebee! Haven't tested for today yet but been having nearly a week of ewcm and still no lh surge.
Not convinced mine are getting darker though they don't seem to be changing.Trying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0
