Kitty - Ovia says 4 days til I can test, so that would be Sunday, although AF wouldn't be due til Tuesday, and if I go with an ultra early test I could test from tomorrow (although I know its not likely to be reliable). Arranging a date night or two will hopefully take my mind off it, I'm getting my hair cut on Saturday so will see if hubby wants to go out that night (even if just to the cinema)MFiT challenge #60

Glow thinks I'm in fertile window and due to ovulate soon. Unfortunately my husband is having some stress as work causing him to have a bad head so I suspect we won't make the most of the fertile window this timeTrying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0

PKK and afoolandhermoney - good luck with the testing ladies! I hope the next few days whizz past for you both!
Selement - sorry to hear your hubby is having a hard time! Hope it passes quickly, you never know it only takes one time, there’s still hope!
Athens - sorry to hear AF showed
Nothing major to update, I have decided to do my OPk sticks everyday this cycle though, tbh more out of interest than anything else, I find this process so interesting I’m googling everything! When I say everyday this cycle I mean until I ovulate, they are so cheap I thought oh blow it why not? I don’t exactly know what my cycle is like after 6 years of coil so what’s the harm. I have had some pink spotting today though which is very unusual and AF ended about 4 days ago, who knows my poor womb trying to get back to normality I suppose!
Hope this week is going well for everyone0 -

Pkk - just noticed I'm in the wrong zone on the latest list - I should still be in the 2WW (my insanely short cycles confusing everyone again). 3days til testing, symptoms looking more like pre-AF (huge boobies and weird dreams at exactly same time as last month) but can't help hopingMFiT challenge #60

Hi all. Sorry I'm a bit quiet. I'm not sure what to say as I'm just waiting. Waiting for AF so I can start the pill. Then I'll just be on the pill waiting to start the drugs. I'm not even symptom spotting anymore as I know deep down we just can't conceive naturally, so it's just tedious waiting. Not exciting/ tortuous waiting. Just boring.
Still, mustn't moan. At least when AF gets here I'll be actually waiting to do something, rather than just waiting to wait some more. I'm so impatient to get started.
Good luck to those testing soon. Fingers crossed for you.
Thanks for the lists PKK0 -
Hi all,
My wife and I (lesbian couple) have just been to our first consultation with CARE fertility.
We are 28 (me) and 29 (her) and we plan on me carrying our first child with my own eggs.
Before we went to the consultation, we expected to be offered IUI with donor sperm. As far as we're aware I have healthy regular periods and no health issues.
However, the doctor suggested they would either do IUI with the ovary stimulation or we could even go straight to IVF.
We now don't know what to do! I should mention that money isn't really a problem, we just want to have a healthy baby as soon as we can. Ideally we'd like to keep everything as natural as possible but we were told the success rates of unstimulated IUI is 10%, stimulated is 20% and IVF is 50%. Is it silly of us to waste time trying IUI, should we go straight to IVF?
Are there any other lesbian couples on here with any advise? xx0 -
I’m still hanging around.
OH is home (works abroad 6 weeks on six weeks off)
And I’m expecting a positive opk today (didn’t get one this morning but I’ll try later)
Not getting my hopes up at all, think I’m resigning myself that after the MC last year that it’s not going to happen.
Though , if we conceive this month I’ll be six months pregnant at our wedding and my beautiful dress I’m so excited about won’t fit, so it’s my luck that this will be our month.
(That’s just my sense of humour, of course it’s just a dress)
Hope everyone is well xx0 -
No news from me, still waiting on AF to rear her ugly head. I'll be 4 weeks post pill tomorrow, so probably still got a bit of a wait ahead of me.0

Hey all.
Having a weird day. 11 DPO and had some *tmi* pink spotting this morning but then none this afternoon. I'm only on CD24, the earliest my period has come is CD27 so who knows. Wont be testing until Tuesday.0
