    Morning, all!

I'm now in the 2WW as I ovulated over the weekend. Feels like it'll be the longest two weeks ever! We can't really have done much more though so just have to relax and see what happens.

Afoolandhermoney, I am keeping everything crossed for you!
  • Zeni - just rearing my ugly old head to say please don't worry about your reaction. In my view, it's normal. Even that this stage I *still* get cross/annoyed when I hear about other women falling at the drop of a bloody hat, because I remember the wait for my own, and the feeling that it absolutely can't happen. It was only with acceptance that it wouldn't happen that it did - which is not logical in my view, but I won't argue! If people ask I tell them; I tell them that this is not easy for everyone, in the hope of spreading a little compassion.

Nanyco – how did your appointment go this week?

    Hi Ladies,

That was some catch up read 😁

The appointment went ok thanks, still no AF, the doctor told me if still nothing 2-3 months I've to make another appointment. She did however talk to me about IVF and egg donation etc as it looks pretty possible I am going through menopause...at a grand old age of 33 😆

I tell people about the problems we had first time, and the loss we had.

When I started talking to people at work, after losing our first at 12 weeks, everyone had a story if not for themselves than of a relative or friend who had been through similar things.

its completely understandable to get upset when you've had a tough ride and others seem to manage so easily.

What really made me mad was seeing a pregnant woman outside the hospital smoking a fag - like she had no appreciation whatsoever of how lucky she was and didn't give a toss about whether she was causing harm to her unborn baby or not.

I hear you on the 2WW! I have started symptom spotting which I am trying to stop myself doing, as I know I am 'finding' the symptoms (if that makes sense!). Ovia says I should test in 8 days. Like you, we did all we can do so it is just a waiting game! Fingers crossed for us bth :)

(Ps I will update the lists when I am on my laptop later)
  • Well as expected AF arrived last night so CD2. Not sure whether to see the GP about the spotting I had because I also had bleeding after BD a few days before it.

At least I'm not so meltdowny this cycle.

 nancyo that must have been a shock, fingers crossed it is just a delay after coming off BC and all will be normal in a month or two. But at least your Dr is taking you seriously

athens - *always* get any unexplained bleeding checked out, its probably nothing (and if it was only a day or two before AF then it may well just be early spotting) but best to be sure.

  • Afoolandhermoney – it is frustrating when you just want to know whether you have struck lucky or not! How many days till you can test?

Nanyco– oh gosh that must have been a shock! I am glad your doctor has already discussed options though, should that be what happens. Some people talk about how their Doctors don’t take their desire to have a child seriously, so I am glad your Doctor is not one of those. Fingers crossed AF rears her ugly head for you soon though!

Nothing to report here... just plodding along. We have a datenight planned Friday and Tuesday next week so I am hoping that will help the week pass a little quicker.
