Sorry to hear you are both still having difficulties. We decided to stop TTC, I was getting some abnormal bleeding and a few other bits and pieces, started a new job and was a key worker at an NHS hospital during lockdown 1, so the stress of it all wasn't great. Maybe next year, though I turned 37 this year and worry I'm getting too old (as in personally, not as in I think that is too old for others) as I seem to have really aged in this last year.
  • are you back on contraception then? or just "not trying to not get pregnant" if that makes sense?
we've stopped actively charting and all of that.  I'm 43 so definitely hear you on the age thing!!! And I still have chronic pain issues which makes even trying difficult.  Sigh....!  My husband is more keen on the idea of another child than I am.
Congratulations on the new job - although I don't know how you're managing with everything going on!

I'm back on contraception to try and quell the random and almost incessant bleeding  :( it was making me anaemic, which with the new job and COVID was not ideal! I think we will reassess once I've finished feeding the small one as I really suspect that is upsetting the bleeding.

  • Hi unoriginal_uk  they haven't been contributed to in ages... so I think they have sort of stopped being used.  A shame really as I found them really helpful previously.
If you search back through the Forum list you'll find them (I think they were on page 5 when I saw them last) Not really any posts since 2019.  I think other pregnancy forums on BabyCentre / OhBaby / Mumsnet etc have gained in popularity and people also use Facebook - there are often groups created there (search for the month you are due).
