How's everyone doing in lockdown?
Is it giving everyone more chance to get down with it? Or just hammering home the desire for children?
From my perspective, we're so exhausted with work and trying to juggle childcare that we have not done anything towards the baby making! We haven't officially put it on hold, we've just not had chance to try.
My period has returned though, so maybe we should get on it!

My periods have stopped. I read that it's not uncommon for your body to do that in times of stress. It's like your brain thinks "it's too stressful to take on a pregnancy right now, I will stop ovulation happening"Very cruel - I thought I was pregnant at first.Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0

Sorry to hear that aunty pickle is there anything in particular about the situation that's stressing you? It's very sensible of mother nature, but also very cruel!

I've had J at home with me all day every day. He is 5 now (just had a birthday recently!) and is a typical boy - lots of energy etc! I have chronic pain issues which have hugely flared up - I'm in tears most days, literally crawling on hands and knees because it's too painful to walk - and wish I could just lie in bed all day (painkillers don't help at all - either rest or deep tissue massage does neither of which I've been able to get!)J has been super awesome amidst all the uncertainty but has also been extra "clingy" and needing almost constant attention and I am used to working from home and having my own space and quiet. There's no compromise! My husband is counted as an essential worker so has been working full time - 40hrs + per week and has also been amazing but he can't really help during the day.The mind-body relationship is very complex and interesting and I found it very relieving/reassuring to read articles stating that it is not uncommon for women's cycles to be "messed up" during times of stress. I was worried I was entering an early menopause (I'm 42)!Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0

That sounds really hard Aunty-Pickle. I'm very glad I don't have any additional health needs to worry about. We're very fortunate that we are both essential workers so no income worries and have a good size house and nice garden, so much better off than many others, plus husbands work are being very flexible so he's doing most of the child care. But yes, my 4yo is being extra clingy too. I was thinking he'd escape this fairly unscathed, but now I'm not sure. I'm definitely more worried about him than I was. He's loving the extra time at home with us, but starting to get a bit bored now.
I was worried about my mental health through all of this, but I think my job has helped give me a sense of purpose which has helped, and also my bad post-natal experiences too strangely, husband is really struggling being so hemmed in, but it feels almost normal to me!0 -

Hello! I’m still here too, still trying but back in June my CD21 blood test showed a very low progesterone level (prolactin was normal which was always the assumed reason for not conceiving as I’m still feeding Mr2.5) so I’m on the fertility clinic waitlist. Not giving up hope though! How are you both getting on?:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

I recently had CD21 bloods. All normal - which is almost disappointing because in a way it would be nice if there was something "fixable".
