Hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas!

I've had a few remarks from the MIL today about how it's not the same without kids at Christmas, how lovely a baby would be for next year, how we really need to try the next few months!
It upset me a little bit as she knows everything were going through.
I had a little cry outside and OH mentioned to her that it is a sensitive situation which she replied with 'oh I know, I just think your trying too hard, it'll happen when it happens. When you least expect it'
I can't even look at her right now, I'm off to pour myself another quadruple malibu and coke and get thoroughly !!!!ed.

Oh Skimper that is really insensitive, especially as she knows that you're trying! Big hugs.

We're in fertile week and not having the most fun trying to find time to BD as we're staying with family so I'm not feeling too hopeful.

    Any news HopHop?

skimper, your mother in law sounds really insensitive (to put it mildly).

    No news here.

Not much to report unfortunately Rambosmum! I got my peak a little later than I'd expected on the Saturday 28th, but then the spotting started on the 30th and has carried on ever since. I was thinking of testing tomorrow morning but the bleeding has gone bright red and a little heavier so I'm pretty sure AF is on it's way. We stopped breastfeeding at the beginning of Dec so I was really hoping that would help, but if anything I'm just bleeding more often than I'm not with 22 days out of the past 35

    Are you still feeding?

Yeah she can be Rambosmum sometimes she doesn't think, she flips from 'oh wouldn't it be lovely' to 'you need to stop trying to hard'

No other news from me CD5 atm, so just waiting for fertile week.

Yes, still feeding. Don't think she'll stop for a while. Currently in the process of night weaning, which may kick start things for me, though it didn't last time!

    How incredibly insensitive skimper.

My little one decided last week that he no longer wants to feed to sleep or during the night anymore, so hoping my cycles become a little more regular in the near future.

Fingers crossed night weaning goes well Rambosmum.

I thought I was due on yesterday but because my cycles are all over the place, I don't actually know when I ovulated but there was no BD in Dec at all so I definitely can't be pregnant.

We night weaned back in May and I did manage to at least start getting periods again at the end of June but it hasn't helped much else. Took a FRER this morning and it was a solid negative. The bleeding has increased with a little cramping so I think I'll be in full flow by the weekend. Good luck with the night weaning!!
  • Hey everyone,

Just popping my head in, not sure if anyone remembers me, my LG is now 6 months old so I was on here a while ago now. I have recently returned to full time work and dreaming of #2 so I can have another 6 months off haha! OH won’t agree to TTC until our baby is 1 though. I will probably pop back here soon and start tracking OV etc and seeing what sort of rhythm my cycle is in. I stopped breastfeeding recently when I came back to work and haven’t had a proper period yet so we shall see. Nice to see some familiar names back for baby #2 also! Hope everyone is well and I will be back soon.

    Welcome back busybargainz.

Last weekend was my 31st birthday (really though I'd have a baby by now!) and we went away for the weekend in the camper, it really cleared my head & I came back much calmer, I think it was just what I needed.

I've stopped temping this month, no opks either, just going to BD around the right time, no more stressing about ovulation or what my temps going to do.
