Kind of. We are going away for the weekend with family (lovely part) to remember my cousin who was killed a year ago (the not nice reason). It will be an emotional weekend but I am so glad we will be together and we will laugh and remember him. I didn't feel that I could go to this not knowing the outcome of our treatment. And at least if it's BFN I can cry without anyone wondering why I am!
  • We tested this morning.... and we got a BFP! (well 3 actually hahaha)

I am in shock and can't believe it has worked! I am so so grateful right now and just really hope this little one keeps growing nice and strong in there.

PKK I am so thrilled for you!! Congratulations. Please do keep us updated :) I hope your weekend away goes well x
  • Congratulations PKK, I’ve been keeping an eye on the thread since I left. So happy for you, keeping everything crossed for a healthy and happy pregnancy for you xx
  • Thank you ladies. I am itching for my husband to get back so we can cuddle up on the sofa and enjoy the moment.

I always dreamed of surprising him when we got pregnant and had the exact way I would do it all planned out! Obviously I couldn't do it as we were having treatment so he wanted to be there when I tested. However I flipped it on the head and said I wanted him to check the test and tell me.... best moment ever!

I am going to stick around for a few more weeks until we know everything is progressing ok in there if that's alright. There is an increased risk of loss with IVF so whilst I am enjoying this moment I know it isn't guaranteed.

Thank you for all your support ladies. It's been a long two years on this board!
  • Yay PrettyKittyKat!!!
    So, so pleased for you.
Hope you have an easy 9 months and wonderful transition into motherhood

Hi Everyone, I'm new here! *waves*
I've been lurking for quite a while but thought it was time to post.

Originally me and my partner were going to wait to start trying until our house move was complete (still waiting) but due to Pill issues, I came off a lot earlier and am now actively trying.
I had been on Loestrin for many many years but due to the shortage of this brand I was switched to Levest earlier this year. I went on it and completed a packet and waited for my break week & found that the migraines were unbearable and so we decided not to continue using the pill and start trying sooner that we originally thought.

I had my last break week period (when I had the migraines) on 19th July and haven't experienced anything resembling a period since.

The only strange thing that did happen is after doing the BD there was a bit of bleeding - something that has never occured before. This was about a month ago now.

We have been active quite a fair bit just in case there was any chance of ovulation.

It has been around 122 days since my break week period so will keep on being active in the hope that something happens soon.

Welcome kslater! Hope you get something that resembles a normal cycle soon! OH and I have been trying for number 2 since May ish. I'm still breastfeeding so we think that's not helping, we're also considering taking a break from trying but I think that'll make me more stressed tbh.
