Hi everyone sorry I've not been on,
I'm waiting on anything at the moment. Mirena came out 8th, no spotting no AF no nothing. I did use OPK's last week and got a smiley face on Friday but only bd on Sunday, Thursday and Sunday so just waiting on anything now. I hate waiting.
With my previous pregnancies I was pregnant so quickly and I knew within 10 days, I was super sick throughout with both so I would assume I could be the same again but will see (soon hopefully)
selement I'm the same as you, trying to clear debts before any baby, this is 3 for us and the other two are a lot older but they cost a fortune only on hobbies though.
PKK that's a great idea about an account for 'free' money, I've started swagbucks and in 2 weeks have got £30 in vouchers so I'll hopefully try keep it up but need to get back into ebay etc
Sending lots of wishes to you all for the week ahead0 -
CD 30 for me today. My cycles have varied slightly since I started tracking (30,31,34,27) so AF could come any day now, Ovia is predicting Thursday. I've also had spotting a couple of days before in two cycles. So now I have the 'going to the toilet dread' *sigh*
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!0 -
sorry about AF toots
PKK - fingers crossed for you. I am also in that stage of dreading to go. Ovia predicts AF tomorrow for me. Tested yesterday and this morning but both BFN - i'm ignoring the super, super, super faint, most likely evaporation line that I have in all probability imagined (I've never stared at anything so hard before now). Still getting nauseous but had cramps last night and been craving salty foods (usually a sign of AF's imminent arrival)
I have next to no savings, just a one month emergency fund at the moment. HMRC website has a good calculator for working out what your SMP would be (my employer isn't any more generous sadly), so I know I will need to save some more if I want to take my maximum leave. Loose change goes into a terramundi pot which will hopefully be full by the time any baby arrives (it won't be much but it will at least help towards nappies, baby clothes etc). I think it will get easier to save once a baby is a real prospect rather than theoretical - I feel a bit of a fraud / crazy adding Baby Stuff as a line in the budget right now.
Hope everyone has a good weekMFiT challenge #60

Sorry Toots, fingers crossed for next month.
Thanks for the lists and I've got my fingers crossed for you too PKK. When are you testing?
AF arrived here on Saturday, so today is CD3 already. I've started taking the OCP again to regulate my hormones before we can start our treatment cycle next month.
We had saved for a baby, yes. But now all that money, along with plenty more we have borrowed, has gone on out fertility treatment. You can't plan for everything. If we are lucky enough to be successful we will make it work somehow. Babies don't have to cost the earth. We will just have to be careful and I might have to take less maternity leave than I'd like but what's the option?0 -
Hi ladies,
Day 16 here. Please can I be moved over to 2ww? Natural cycles thinks ov is today however I had a positive lh on Saturday, temp rises and distinct ov pains last night so I reckon it was then. I don’t know if anyone else gets ov pains but they’re weird I. That I seem to know that’s what they are, they don’t happen at any other time but are really hard to decribe? I said to my husband like stabby, shooting pains, low down kind of top of leg area. They can sometimes remind me of stitch and take my breath away. Anyone else or am I talking crazy?
With regards saving, we’ve been saving each a month towards buying a house- hope to be moving in next month, so it would be good if we could continue that although car insurance, tax and mot are due very soon and husband wants a new job. It will probably have worse pay but a better work/life balance which is all we’re bothered about. He needs to be happy going to work and as you have said, the money will figure itself out.0 -
Afoolandhermoney - I hope the BFN turns to a lovely BFP tomorrow for you. I haven't really had any symptoms either way. Slightly tender boobs, but not as bad as they usually are in the run up to AF.
Slothsocks - Ovia says to test on wednesday so i ak trying my best to hold off until then! This would be 12dpo I think. How are you feeling about your treatment?0 -

Please move me to 2ww.
After discussion on here about money i did some calculations and now I'm actually a little bit worried about if I do get pregnant haha. I'm sure we'll make it work though couples less well off seem to manage.
Good luck to those testing soon, maybe we'll get our first bfp of the year this monthTrying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0 -
