Sloth Every time I see a BFN it really hits you hard.. last month was the worst being late by 5 days and seeing so many frustrating negatives. I just want to see a positive so badly!

I did test just in case but as I expected really bfn. My boobs are sore at the moment perhaps a sign AF might finally come? Approaching 7 weeks since coming off pill.
Going away for our anniversary soon I hope AF isn't on then but I bet it will be :(

Selement fingers crossed it comes along, goes away quickly and that you can enjoy your anniversary!

ToM was due yesterday so far no sign.. my impatient brain this morning wanted to test as have some first response early ones and a BFN. Bah. I'm really hoping I don't have a repeat of last months 5 days late as just makes me get my hopes up :(

    Hi all,

    Hope everyone is good.

Selement, when I came off my pill I broke off part way through a pack but I came on 3 days later. I was a 34 day cycle when using the pill but when I came off I went straight into 28 days, last month was 29. Hope it all sorts itself out one way or another

Zeni sorry for your BFN today, but like everyone says you're not out until AF comes, I do hope it doesn't end up winding you up and coming late though.

I think I'm due on Sat or Sun, certainly don't feel any different so I'm not hopeful but never know! Just want to know either way, days are feeling long waiting! xx

Yet again I've neglected to update this thread, I'm so sorry! It's been a bit of a hectic couple of months and I've been feeling all over the place. Had a blood test yesterday to check my thyroid function, get the results for that tomorrow - absolutely loathe waiting for blood test results so I'm just trying to distract myself until then.

On a more topic-relevant note, I'm now 6 days late, which is not like me at all (although, trying to be rational - it's very possibly because I'm fretting about above-mentioned blood test results and the stress is delaying matters). I did do a test a couple of days ago and it was a BFN. I'm going to hold on a bit to do another one, as the disappointment gets a bit too much after a while. Have started symptom-spotting which I'm trying very hard not to do but it's hard not to.

    Congrats to all the BFPs!

I think I'm CD33 now - apologies again for my absence!
  • Zeni, sorry AF came, I know it is frustrating - chin up! :)! I too thought we would get treatment after a year of trying but unfortunately having read online it will be 3 years before they consider IVF, unless it differs from each location.

sloth, we've had day 1 and 21 blood test, HSG and a ultrasound - these came back normal. I'm going for another day 21 blood test tomorrow.

munchkin, sorry to hear your loss. Also with a wedding to plan it is quite stressful, but if you were to fall pregnant before the wedding the dress can be adjusted :)

Lavender, as my tubes were clear following the HSG and ultrasound and I didn't have any symptoms I think this is why I didn't need the laparoscopy

Selement, don't lose hope - I remember during my mad googling days I read some ladies did fall pregnant without the withdrawal bleed. Perhaps if it doesn't come to book an appt with the docs?

Thrift, good luck I hope it is a BFP for you this month :)
