Been feeling a bit nauseated today and yesterday - should I test? Could just be getting the bug my husband currently has though . Still not has any withdrawal bleed since coming off pill 6 weeks ago and we haven't actually BD very much so I think it's unlikely....Trying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0

Morning all
Thanks Freddie I did actually post on that thread last year about some investigations I was having at that time but I didn't receive a reply. It looks as thought the thread isn't being used anymore but will give it a go and post on there.
I've actually got a docs appt today, hoping to get some blood tests done to find out if there is anything else that might be missing, or it could just be that we are the few unlucky ones every month without catching...
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend0 -
Selement I think mine came pretty much straight away but I think it can take about 6 weeks. Have you taken a test just to be sure? You could book an appt with the GP too?0

Oh I had a proper look and see what you mean. It used to be quite a busy thread, usually on the first page of the boardMortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Hi Lily_Rose! We have been trying a year, but we are under a fertility specialist already (self referred due to my age). We've done three rounds of clomid, then on to aggressive fertility treatments, which we'll have to self fund, goodness knows how. Have you had all your tests and investigations?
Thanks for the lists Zeni. Getting close to testing date for you, huh? I have my fingers crossed.
As for me, I've been having a stressful time both at home and at work, which is exactly what I didn't want right now. I've been told to test at the weekend, which seems to be a million miles away and way too soon at the same time. I just really don't want to see another BFN because the next steps are scary ones.0 -
We’ve been trying over 18 months.I got pregnant last Oct but unfortunately had a miscarriage at New Year.
OH works abroad so is away six weeks at a time so technically we’re on cycle 13 or something like that of when he’s been home.
I’ve had day 21 bloods done which came back normal. We’re getting married in 8 months and I’ve bought a dress which wouldn’t fit if I managed to get pregnant before it so we’re not trying at the moment but i think a couple of months before the wedding we’ll be able to start trying again and look at tests if need be.0 -
Hello all
Zeni, I hope that's a premonition for you
LilyRose, this may not help, but I think there must be some regional variations going on. I conceived at 11 months TTC, but was in with my GP at 7-8 months (with what turned out to be endo, have you had an investigative laparoscopy?) and he said come back at 12 months if no joy. I was honestly thinking about when to make the appointment for when I got BFP. I don't know how much age and child-bearing history and other health factors come into it?
Zeni, I think I'm ready to be a graduate now, long as that doesn't jinx it! I will still keep a weather eye on you all though, I will always remember what this stage is like x0
