My OV does jump a bit, last month it was CD17 but this month bang on CD14. I'm hoping we've done enough.

Today's test is another static smiley and missed out the flashing! :huh:
I wanted to keep testing because ovia and flo both thought either yesterday or Sunday would be my peak days

Oo that's a bit odd Dotm I haven't tested since solid smiley. Ovia, while is great for me keeping track of my dates and tests, has always been slightly off with my peak days disagreeing with my CB tests

Yes very strange isn't it! I've done a cheapy test an hour ago and I would say the test line is practically the same colour so I think Tuesdays test was maybe just a hormone surge? I've never seen one of my tests so dark either!
I've heard that you can have a surge but it not actually turn into ovulation so the body tries again.
Happy though that it's around the time I was expecting and glad it's come on a weekend, much easier to get OH in the mood for BD! :rotfl:

Thanks for the welcome and congratulations Lavender.

Sorry the clearblue is confusing you Dot. The tests can make me really anxious.

I got a low fertility when I tested on Friday, but I had a tracking scan in the afternoon which showed a 20mm follicle so they gave me a trigger shot. I'm pretty sure I ovulated today and we managed to bd yesterday and today.

I'm just a bit concerned as day 12 seems so early to O. I normally O around day 20 without clomid. But this is our last chance so just got to go with it I suppose.

That's great news slothsocks I really really hope this month is your month, I guess O can be a different day each month?

I've had a terrible weekend with my OH, I think the tests have put too much pressure on it and it didn't happen for us last night so we said we would try again in the morning but got into an argument about all of this so it didn't happen.
My OH and I decided in June to try keep to "it'll happen when it happens" approach but unfortunately I think since we decided this he has struggled to get it out of his mind that sex is now for another purpose and feels pressured. We're not a hugely sexually active couple which doesn't help.
He said last month he wanted to try use the tests so he knew when the right time, so I had told him it was yesterday but unfortunately this has made it so much worse. I couldn't help by been so upset at the thought of it not potentially been this month, especially when everything pointed to yesterday been my day that I had the best chance.
Had a big talk about it and decided to stop using the tests and try go back to when it happens itl happen on his terms rather than mine as the whole thing was (and still is!) making me crazy. So I guess il see how that goes for us. So upset by it all and if shows all over my face which is making things worse. why can't it just be easy?!

Sorry for my rant I've nobody else to speak to properly about this and just feel completely deflated when I know in reality I'm at the very beginning of this journey.

Awh Dot I know what you mean... I feel like with my OH I'm walking a line of sharing enough so that he knows what's going on but not oversharing so he gets freaked out. For example, I didn't tell him about how my CB test went, he saw the test and asked if it was a pregnancy test, I explained what it was and then he asked what I got and told him but didn't really say much more than that. We managed to BD two days running after static smiley which for us is good (feel like he realised that it was a good time but we didn't actually chat about it) but I did feel that he was a bit stressed about it all. My friend is trying too and commented the other day her OH said he felt like she was putting to much pressure on him and they had a big fight when she was OVing too.

It's like we really need this thing, but we cant go to far so to actually not make it happen because then it really won't happen. Argh. But we know that it such a small window that to just make it happen is quite hard. What a mind screw.

It really is a mindscrew, I'd much rather not have to bring it up when I am OV'ing but I feel like if I don't bring it up and it doesn't happen that day I've wasted a month. this has happened the last couple of months which I kept quiet and let them go but I really didn't want to waste another month so when he said to use the tests I thought great I'm in with a chance but it's had the opposite effect. he asked me what was wrong (must have seen it all over my face) and I explained this morning that it was probably too late now and he said that it wasn't that he didn't want to but that he couldn't. I guess the pressure had got to him too much which I totally understand but it's like you said when it's only a couple of days in the month that you are in with a good chance it becomes disheartening when it's missed. Sound like I'm in a similar position to your friend, it's a horrible feeling.
I guess for couples who are doing it more often it's not as much of an issue as they could naturally catch the right time. My OH has a physical job so comes home exhausted through the week and definitely not in the mood so it usually only happens for us on a weekend so there isn't lots of chances for it to naturally happen. I think il leave it a couple of months and hope he starts to relax a bit.
